Story
SAY HELLO to Eddy. He has a few things to share in the hopes someone falls in love with him like we all have. He is the cutest little chocolate Boston mix guy ever. We don’t know his other parts but they too are smaller, a bit leggy and maybe why he has a tail? “Hi folks, I am Eddy. PLEASE SHARE ME? I came to Miss Beth’s a couple weeks ago. I was found near an apartment complex by some nice folks and turned into the shelter so my people could find me. they never even came looking? So Miss Beth whisked me away knowing I had picked up a nasty respiratory bug and held me in isolation til I cleared. I hear another pup near me got some P infection so my alone time was 2 weeks for safety. I never got that and a few pills later I am all better. Who wants to hear more about me? My favorite subject 😉. I can sit pretty good on command. I play well with others, I do like to tussle if they start things. But if it gets too rough I do go looking for Miss Beth. I love big Bonita and lick her jowls, she lets me climb on her. FM will share a video in the comments. If I get a juicy bone I will do my best to keep others away. Mostly I will run around the house looking for a spot for just me and my bone. I am all puppy, about 5 months, 11lbs. Thin and lithe with a cute white tipped long tail. I have had some house time recently since I cleared the snots but will need someone prepared for training me both mentally and house manners. I am in Knoxville. I haven’t met cats but if I do I hope they want to play? I am kinda jumpy but small so slightly older kids would be best. I would love a fenced safe yard but most of all someone to hang with me, love me, walk me and play with me. Hopefully yours, Eddy 🛑All FAQ’s and information, READ this Facebook post first. https://www.facebook.com/100063745865279/posts/377006574434202/?mibextid=DcJ9fc 🔶🔶Then, TO APPLY to foster or adopt. Story
Johnny JoJo is an 8 yr old neutered male beagle/Boston terrier  mix approximately 36.5 lbs. JoJo is affectionate and friendly to people he knows. JoJo is in therapy dog training to help him be comfortable meeting new people and dogs and overcoming his reactiveness to sounds and motion. He is a quick learner and making good progress. Plenty of exercise helps manage his reactiveness especially to loud noise like fireworks. We have tried medication as needed and it is effective. He can be a bit clingy due in the beginning. He will whine, bark or howl for a few minutes when his person leaves the house, but then settles down. He does not get panicky or destructive, though crating him is recommended to be safe. Jojo gets along well with the other dog and the cat in his foster home but can be reactive at first to dogs he doesn’t know. He gets along well with calm non-reactive medium size dogs once he gets to know them but no small dogs in the home. He will happily keep your yard free of squirrels, rabbits and other critters. Johnny Jojo would do well as a single pet with someone that has energy to play ball and take long walks daily. Jojo is not food aggressive with people. He loves to snuggle on the couch with you. He snores softly in his sleep and chases lots of squirrels in his dreams. JoJo is UTD, heart worm negative, neutered,  microchip pending Crate Trained:  Yes. He rides well in a crate in the car. Potty Trained: Mostly, though he does tend to pee in the house when he is anxious and it has been 3-4 hours since he was out. He happily wears a belly band when he can’t be directly monitored. Dog Friendly: Depends on the dog Cat friendly: yes, but he does try to chase cats. Kid Friendly: no Fenced yard needed Yes ##1402963##

Story
Greetings, my name is Lady Jane. Am I not one of the most sophisticated little Boston Terrier mixes you’ve ever laid eyes on? My rescue vet said they see Corgi in me, but I’m a lady, so I refuse to share the details of my parents’ love affair.  I have a long tail and I love to wag it, especially when I am happy. What makes me happy, you ask? I love soaking up your undoubted affection and will show my gratitude by making a bit of a humming noise. I also like to explore my domain (the backyard) and believe evenings are best spent taking walks and visiting my adoring fans, also known as the neighbors. I typically spend my days lounging by the bed or on the couch trying to get my human to stop working and pay attention to me.  The Basics Age: Estimated 6 yrs Weight: 25 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes Microchipped: Yes Vaccines Up-to-Date: Yes On Heartworm Prevention: Yes On Flea/Tick Prevention: Yes House-Trained: Yes Crate-Trained: Not sure. I do knock down the baby gates my human has up.  Leash Skills: Pretty good, but I do pull and bark at cars. Medical: Resolved cherry eyes. I see just fine though. Likes/Dislikes Toys: I’m not a fan of toys. Other Animals: I get along with other dogs if we are on opposite sides of the fence and I’ve played with another dog, but I much prefer to be on my own. I love to chase cats. People/Kids: I love people! Car Rides: They are okay. Separation: I do just fine on my own, but I love to have you home more.    Contact/Application Info  Questions? Contact her foster, Annette at arm223.4941@yahoo.com. Meet Betty Boggle, a super fun blend of Beagle and Boston Terrier, also known as a Boglen Terrier. She’s a happy, sweet girl that loves attention from her people. She will sometimes lounge around the house when all is calm and gladly roll over for some belly rubs.  Betty is a typical busy puppy with lots of energy that’s always looking for something to get into or chew on. She is a very smart girl and needs an attentive family committed to keeping her mind engaged through exercise/play, chew toys, and positive reinforcement training. A fenced yard with monitoring is preferred to give Betty space to zoom around in.  The Basics Age: 1 yr Weight: Approximately 30 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes Microchipped: Yes Vaccines Up-to-Date: Yes On Heartworm Prevention: Yes On Flea/Tick Prevention: Yes House-Trained: She’s been learning in her foster home, but may have accidents when not closely monitored for cues that she needs to go out.  Crate-Trained: She prefers to be out and may bark/whine when crated.  Leash Skills: We’re working on it. She still pulls some.  Likes/Dislikes  Toys: Likes toys and may try to steal toys from younger kids. Other Animals: Good with other dogs. Curious but not fully tested with cats. People/Kids: Good with all! Will jump on people when excited. Car Rides: Okay in the car and enjoys going for a ride. Separation: Some separation anxiety. Prefers to be with her people.  Contact/Application Info  Questions? Story
Wally Gator is a pure bred 5-year-old male Boston Terrier. From what information we could gather, Gator spent a good chunk of his life tied to a tree. It appears he may have some neurological damage possibly due to abuse and being kicked around. Despite all of that, Gator is such a happy go lucky guy. When he first arrived, he could barely stand. Since then he has gained so much strength! Though his gait’s a bit wobbly-he absolutely loves to run around the yard!  He likes to cozy up to you and rest his head against your side while you read a book or watch a movie. No doubt Gator’s past has left remnants of anxiety., he has learned to sleep in a crate but much prefers a dog bed.  He sleeps throughout the night on his bed in the bedroom. He has medicine to help with anxiety and if he’s feeling anxious he likes to suck on his ‘lovie’ or his chew on his Benebone. He has had a few small seizures at the vet but none since coming into foster care. - most likely caused by the mistreatment. These too are easily controled with medication.  His leash skills are not the greatest but with some patience he may improve. The walking ‘distance’ is not as important to him as the sniffing of all the new smells. And the sniffing relieves so much anxiety that this is actually very good for him.  Gator would like a home where he has human company for part of the day. He will need a fenced in yard and would love another dog to run around the yard with.      The Basics Age: 5 years Weight: 21 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Microchipped: Yes Vaccines Up-to-Date: Yes On Heartworm Prevention: Yes House-Trained: yes Crate-Trained: yes, but preferes a dog bed near his people Leash Skills: working on it Medical: Wally is on medication, for seizures – he had 2 seizures while at the vets office, anxiety meds and pain medications. All medications will go with him when adopted.   Likes/Dislikes Toys: some specific toys Other Animals: ignores cats, loves to run and play with other dogs People/Kids: He want to be close if not touching any person. He has not been around children Car Rides: He is fine in a car Separation: He has separation anxiety so his best home would be someone who is home most of the time.   Contact/Application Info Questions? Hi there! My name is Chase Hunk. I am a male Boston terrier, and I am a complete love bug. I love snuggles and sleeping in your lap, but I tend to snore very loudly. Story
Meet Harley Jade, a petite chocolate and white Boston Terrier looking for a home where she can be the center of attention. She's as smart as she is beautiful. She loves meal and snack time and knows how to sit for a treat. She likes to be held and doesn't mind having her kissable little face being kissed on. She can be vocal and will let you know when she wants something. Her favorite thing right now seems to be cuddling up in your lap under a blanket, so she'll whimper if she needs your help to lift the blanket so she can find a cozy spot.  Harley landed in rescue after she became increasingly dominate and aggressive towards the other dog in her original home. We agree Harley would do best as the only pet because she is reactive towards other dogs. She is currently taking a calming CBD serum to help curb her anxiety and reactivity, but she may eventually be able to wean off of it in a more laid back home where she can fully relax. Harley has shown no aggression with people, but we feel it's best that she is not placed on a home with small kids. The BasicsAge: 5 yearsWeight: 20 lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesMicrochipped: YesVaccines Up-to-Date: YesOn Heartworm Prevention: YesHouse-trained: Yes, but has several life changes recently and will need time to readjust Crate-trained: Yes, but prefers to be with her people. She will whine/bark when first crated, but seems to calm down quicker when crated in a space where she cannot see her people and has positive reinforcement items (like her bone and a toy) in her crate with her. Leash Skills: Good on leash.Medical: Should be monitored for potential allergies. Has some staining on her front paws, possibly frrom licking due to allergies. Likes/DislikesToys: Likes to chew on bones. Other Animals: Needs to be your only pet. Although she previously lived with another dog, she has not tested well recently with dogs (regardless if male/female or big/small) or cats.People/Kids: Sweet with adults.Car rides: Okay in the car. Separation: Some separation anxiety Contact/Application InformationQuestions? Contact Amber at amber@bostonterriertn.orgCurrent location: Near Abingdon, VAAdoption fee: $365Ready to apply? Story
Saki is being fostered in PA. Bonjour! I am Sake the cutest merle Frenchie around. I am a spunky 17-month-old bundle of love. Hey, what do you expect from a Frenchie! I love to play with my foster doggie siblings. When not playing I love to take a snooze in any dog bed I find…if not next to someone. I really love when I get attention from you humans. When I play, I make loud snorty noises that gets humans laughing. I love to carry a tennis ball around and play with it. I am a good boy in the house and I do my potties outside. I suddenly went blind about two months ago and took a little adjusting, but I am doing well. I get around my foster home and the yard pretty well on my own, but also listen to sounds my foster Mommy makes to guide me somewhere. I am not that great walking on a leash…can be a slowpoke, so I need to work on that. I am looking for my very own family that will love me and have other doggies to play with. I need to keep active so I can keep my handsome figure and not get out of shape…do not want to get too plump so I can woooo all the girlies. BDRA has voted against the use of electric fencing effective immediately.
