Story
Johnny JoJo is an 8 yr old neutered male beagle/Boston terrier  mix approximately 36.5 lbs. JoJo is affectionate and friendly to people he knows. JoJo is in therapy dog training to help him be comfortable meeting new people and dogs and overcoming his reactiveness to sounds and motion. He is a quick learner and making good progress. Plenty of exercise helps manage his reactiveness especially to loud noise like fireworks. We have tried medication as needed and it is effective. He can be a bit clingy due in the beginning. He will whine, bark or howl for a few minutes when his person leaves the house, but then settles down. He does not get panicky or destructive, though crating him is recommended to be safe. Jojo gets along well with the other dog and the cat in his foster home but can be reactive at first to dogs he doesn’t know. He gets along well with calm non-reactive medium size dogs once he gets to know them but no small dogs in the home. He will happily keep your yard free of squirrels, rabbits and other critters. Johnny Jojo would do well as a single pet with someone that has energy to play ball and take long walks daily. Jojo is not food aggressive with people. He loves to snuggle on the couch with you. He snores softly in his sleep and chases lots of squirrels in his dreams. JoJo is UTD, heart worm negative, neutered,  microchip pending Crate Trained:  Yes. He rides well in a crate in the car. Potty Trained: Mostly, though he does tend to pee in the house when he is anxious and it has been 3-4 hours since he was out. He happily wears a belly band when he can’t be directly monitored. Dog Friendly: Depends on the dog Cat friendly: yes, but he does try to chase cats. Kid Friendly: no Fenced yard needed Yes ##1402963##

Story
Meet Betty Boggle, a super fun blend of Beagle and Boston Terrier, also known as a Boglen Terrier. She’s a happy, sweet girl that loves attention from her people. She will sometimes lounge around the house when all is calm and gladly roll over for some belly rubs. Betty is a typical busy puppy with lots of energy that’s always looking for something to get into or chew on. She is a very smart girl and needs an attentive family committed to keeping her mind engaged through exercise/play, chew toys, and positive reinforcement training. A fenced yard with monitoring is preferred to give Betty space to zoom around in. The BasicsAge: 1 yrWeight: Approximately 30 lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesMicrochipped: YesVaccines Up-to-Date: YesOn Heartworm Prevention: YesOn Flea/Tick Prevention: YesHouse-Trained: She’s been learning in her foster home, but may have accidents when not closely monitored for cues that she needs to go out. Crate-Trained: She prefers to be out and may bark/whine when crated. Leash Skills: We’re working on it. Story
Famous Amos is looking for a special adult-only home to call his own. Amos has lived in many places and has meet several new faces in his lifetime. He is very friendly and can be very cuddly with his people, but is somewhat picky about the company he keeps. We don’t know his full story, so it’s hard to say why he feels less at ease with some people more than others. If he likes you, he absolutely adores you. We know it may take some time, but we’re hopeful his person is out there just waiting to find him!  We think if Amos could talk, he’d say he’d like a fenced yard to explore or an uncrowded walking route – one where he wouldn’t have to interact with many strangers passing close by, and a safe home space without much commotion or change. He would likely thrive most in a single person home with no other pets, but all experienced applicants will be considered so don’t hesitate to contact us if you’re interested. Amos is currently at a boarding/training facility in Aiken, SC, so you and any dog(s) in your home would have to go there to meet him. While he's been there, he’s been a friend to all. His forever family must reside in South Carolina or a surrounding state. Story
Meet Sam Sam, a uniquely male ‘Splash Boston’. SamSam os mostly blind, but he is a fast learner and has adapted quickly to the new surroundings in his foster home. He is a very affectionate boy who likes to stick close to his person. SamSam would be best in an only dog home where he has human company for part of the day. He would also do best in a home with a fenced in yard so he can roam (with supervision). He loves playing tug-of-war and snuggling up next to his humans, especially with his head under a blanket. Due to his blindness and unknown prior living conditions, SamSam has shown fear aggression with restraint. (i.e., vet visits, putting on his collar) but has shown some improvement while in foster care. The BasicsAge: 4.5 yearsWeight: 20 lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesMicrochipped: YesVaccines Up-to-Date: YesOn Heartworm Prevention: YesOn Flea/Tick Prevention: YesHouse-Trained: Mostly. Story
Nikko is a very sweet Boston Terrier/Frenchie mix. She loves playing tug-o-war and “get thetoy.” She’s low energy and enjoys relaxing next to her human. Sweet Nikko also relishes herwalks (3 – 4 a day). She must sniff every single blade of grass she encounters and needsenough time to introduce herself to each of them. She does have stranger danger, however, assoon as she is introduced and allowed sniff and make sure the human is not a threat she isabsolutely fine. Nikko does not like other animals so she must be the only furry person in anadult only home. She is ok staying home alone (so long as you say, bye-bye before you leaveher). She loves affection loves when I kiss her endlessly. She’s really a gentle sweet girl whowill make the perfect addition to the right home. ##1708671##

Story
Yo-Yo Yoda is a male Boston Terrier. He’s very sweet, gentle and loves to cuddle with his babyblanket on the couch next to his people and will only get up to make sure his people are stillthere or if he smells something good cooking. He is completely blind, but doesn’t let that stophim. He learns his surroundings quickly and happily trots his way around the house. A one storyhome would be ideal or some precautions taken for his safety. He rides well in the car, howeverhe gets excited and it takes him a few minutes to settle down, after that its snooze city. In theyard Yoda likes to follow his nose and roll in the grass then sit with you in the shade. Due to hisblindness a fenced in yard is required. He doesn’t mind other dogs as long as they mind theirmanners. He would also do fine being the only dog. A home with someone who is home all dayor only minimal hours away would be best for this southern gentleman.
