Calvin Rufus is a full-blooded male, super spunky and peppy, Boston Terrier. You wouldn’t thinkCalvin is 8 years old with the energy he has. A mom or dad who likes to play fetch or go for longwalks/jogs would be a great fit, but he does have his chill time and will definitely cuddle in yourlap or snuggle in bed (if you allow that). He LOVES blueberries, bananas, blackberries, butturns his nose up at raw carrots. He loves to play with his toys and leaves them stashedeverywhere, so he can play anytime, anywhere! He reminds me of Tigger the Tiger because heis so bouncy. He is a bit of an escape artist when it comes to dog gates, if you like to haverooms blocked off. He is used to a doggie door to come and go as he pleases. He would dobest in an only dog home with a fenced yard. He does well uncrated when I am at work. She’s a laid-back girl who enjoys hanging out with her people (especially the ladies), keeping tabs on household happenings, and chiming in with her own unique vocalizations - she definitely has something to say, especially when she wants to go outside! Bindy has limited vision due to cataracts, but she navigates her world confidently and does best with a predictable, calm environment. She does well with both on- and off-leash dog introductions, but prefers polite canine manners - she doesn’t like dogs in her face or being startled. She could happily live with another easygoing dog who respects her space, or in a home with no other dogs, as long as her people are home often and enjoy spending time with her. Hello, my name is Barbie Anne, or as my foster mom affectionately calls me, Barbie Girl. My favorite thing in the world is belly rubs. I’ll happily lie there for hours if you give me a good belly rub. My foster brother, Rudy, is my best friend. He’s my size, and we’re inseparable. However, my other fur siblings are much larger than me. My foster dad calls me “baby girl,” and that makes my heart swell with joy. I’m protective of my territory and my foster family. I may bark and growl, but don’t let that fool you; I’m a gentle soul. I require slow introductions to people, as I have a lot of energy and love to run and play. My mom gives me medication to help manage my anxiety, and I’m doing very well on it. However, I would do better in a home with fewer people coming and going. I get very nervous and react by barking, urinating, and growling. It takes me a minute to warm up to humans. My life took a sudden turn when my owner passed away, and they didn’t find us for a few days. We were then placed in the Memphis Animal Shelter, where we stayed for two weeks before being rescued by a rescue organization. When I get overstimulated, I need to be in my crate in a quiet, dark room. *** UPDATE from trainer 2.27.26 ***Adopter would need at least one in person trainings & we can do future maintenance class virtually  WOMEN ONLY Meet Bailey! a 1.5 yr old male French Bulldog with a big heart and an even bigger personality!    He came to us thru a local shelter, a stray a very obvious trauma signals & majorly congested. Adopt or fostered to adopt FEMALE ONLY you MUST we are willing to come to South Florida To pick up Bailey and go through a training class. Today, this young buddie is thriving, bc of an amazing kind and welcoming foster home and his fabulous Training With Alpha buddy dog Training; He even has some new Frenchie friends—he’s dog-friendly, ignores the cats and has been calm around the 8yr old (dog-smart) kiddo in his foster-home.  We have found in testing his behavior that he is best suited in the company of women ONLY! He is VERY male reactive.   He is not a fan of crates.   He is uncomfortable being touched, till he REALLY knows you.  Bailey comes w a "Behavior Dog" label bc of his crate and male reactiveness.  Given his space, given consistency, over time he may take to the company of men; for now, we wish to assure he knows he is safe.      Why Bailey Might Be the One for You: • Spayed and up-to-date on vaccines • LOVES toys and playtime • Walks well on a leash ‍ • Young & trainable * gets along well with other dogs AND cats   Bailey is potty trained, young, eager to learn, and with consistency and patience, he will get there in no time. Odie Roger is a 3-year-old French & English bulldog mix who weighs about 50lb. ODIE WILL NEED AN EXPERIENCED FOSTER OR ADOPTER. He’s wonderful with other dogs of all sizes and ages. He’s also fine with cats—as long as they don’t run. Once the chase instinct kicks in, he simply can’t help himself. He’s quick, but he’s never caught one, and honestly, I think the fun would end if he ever did. He is definitely a busy boy. Will require an active, interactive, balanced home. Would absolutely recommend another playful, active dog in the home, It helps. He's crate trained, housebroken. Adores toys and can get a little competitive (playing with other dogs). He knows basic commands and follows them well. He thrives under structure and stability—those are the keys to keeping him balanced and confident.  He has been doing well in new environments, though he is still uncomfortable with new people who approach him directly. Odie is a vocal “flight, not fight” type of guy—he prefers to retreat and talk about it rather than escalate. At this point, I believe he is ready to move into the next phase of his journey. The longer he stays here, the harder it may become for him to transition in the future. He deserves a committed person or family who can continue his progress and help him truly blossom.
