Hi I am Andy Andrews, the 3 legged wonder. Every morning, I clock in like it’s my 9–5. There they are… tiny, chaotic acrobats with zero respect for property ownership. One flick of their tail and suddenly I’m activated. Heart racing. Ears up. Whole body trembling like I’ve just been personally challenged. Do I catch the squirrels? No. Could I catch them? Also no. At 9 years young, I still have all the zoomies, energy, and playful spirit of a much younger pup. I'm a total sweetheart who loves every person I meet—expect wiggles, kisses, and maybe some classic Boston "talking" (those adorable grunts and chirps when I'm excited!). I make a great little watchdog too: I'll alert you with my bark whenever someone comes to the door, then happily greet your guests. Car rides are my jam—windows down, ears flapping, pure happiness! Play is my favorite thing: I could fetch that ball all day long and love a good tug-of-war session (bring your strongest rope!). I thrive on attention, belly rubs, and being your constant shadow. Tucker initially lived with a young man as a puppy and was a great source of comfort to his owner once the owner became sick. The owner died and Tucker went to live with relatives. Nine months later the relative Tucker had bonded with also died. He is a very smart dog with lots of energy! He loves to play and run. He loves new adventures and is always ready to go. In spite of the losses in his life, he is a happy boy and wants nothing more than to be around his people. He does have high energy but once he winds down, he is into cuddles and back scratches. Let us introduce our little tripod, Franklin Fuquay, 16 months old at this writing. Franklin weighs 14.5 lb. and really needs a playmate or two. He would not do well as an only dog. He is not good with big dogs which is understandable because he lost his leg at 2 months of age when attacked by a male dog in the breeder's home. In the foster home, he has only had female friends, but everyone has been adopted except the resident female and she's not interested in playing with him. Franklin loves toys and is pining for a girlfriend his size to play with. Franklin is very sweet and loves to cuddle with his dog friends. He does bark when people come in but settles down and lkes to be petted once he gets to know them. He is good in the car. No separation issues. Franklin is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and is on heartworm prevention monthly. He is house-trained and crate-trained and working on leash-training.
