Story
Introducing Sugar Rae, a Boston Terrier mix,we think with boxer, approximately 6 months of age, female.
Sugar loves to be near people, but is also pretty independent . She is housetrained as long as you take her out frequently. She has had no accidents in the house or kennel, but does not really tell you when she needs to go. Knows her name and comes when called . Walks very well on a leash . Will need a slow feeder bowl as she eats very fast. This is probably due to the fact that she was starving and emaciated when she was found. Working on waiting for her food. She is not food aggressive , but will attempt to eat out of others bowls . Also working on excitement with people and jumping. Both are improving . She is very treat motivated and learns quickly.
She snores very loudly , so keep in mind if you want her to sleep in bed with you :). She does well staying off furniture as we do not let her .
She is still a puppy, so working on puppy nipping when playing. Loves chew bones, balls , and treats .
Will need to be crated when you leave, , but at night, I have kept her out and she sleeps on the floor next to the bed and has done very well, sleeping through the night .

Likes/Dislikes: Loves to be near her person. Will give lots of kisses. Loves to play. Loves chew bones.
Toys: Loves balls
Other Animals: Would do best with other dogs willing to put up with a puppy.
People/Kids: barks at strangers and noises, but settles quickly. Would not recommend small kids due to still a puppy with puppy nipping and jumping (working on). Has done very well taking her places such as the Farmers Market, Pet store, etc. Not reactive to other dogs or people. Loves attention.
Car Rides: Does exceptionally well with car rides.
Separation: Mild separation anxiety when in the crate initially.
