Hi, I'm Kaleb! I had a rough start in life but it seems to be looking up now! I was rescued from a dark and dirty cage where I lived with a couple roommates. They weren't very clean and that caused us all a lot of health problems. My skin itched and burnt so badly! Then a kind person reached into that cage and brought me out. Thats when I knew my life was going to change!! I went for a short ride to a house with a soft bed. I liked it, but was still super unsure because I had just known that dark cage my whole life. The kind lady put me in something she called grass, and let something called sunshine warm my skin. It felt amazing. From there I went to see a doctor that helped me feel better with some eye drops, and medicine that took care of the mites that were overgrown on my skin. From there I went on another ride to a place called a "foster home". The nice lady there made sure i had a clean and soft place to lay, and introduced me to all kinds of other creatures. I met some BIG dogs, and another little dog like me. I also met a cat and some rabbits that were bigger than me! There was a lot going on there, and my foster mom soon realized that I needed some quiet to decompress. I got to spend my evenings snuggled on her warm lap and my nights in a soft, clean safe cage, all to myself! I was neighbors with the rabbits at night, which suited me just fine. They are super quiet. By the end of the week I was really coming out of my shell. Running around, exploring and even playing with the other dogs! ##2806545##

Luke is a 7 year old Boston Terrier that weighs about 23lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and on heart worm prevention. Luke is a very lovable and laid back Boston. He is good in a crate and learned the doggie door very quickly. He will take naps in his crate with the door open, doggie bed, or in the chair. Luke loves to be around other dogs and people, especially children. He is friends with everyone he meets. Luke has not been destructive with any toys or anything. He is fully house broken and is the perfect gentleman. He love car rides and wants to go with you every time you open the door. Luke is very intelligent, aims to please, a lover and not fighter. He comes to his name, listens very well and walks on a leash well. He loves attention and is happy to snuggle on your lap in chair or anywhere. He really loves to give out kisses. You must be careful to watch out for Luke because he will be your shadow in the house and in the yard. He has only barked a few times when he is excited and doesn’t bark often when other dogs in the house do. On cold nights, he will want to burrow under the covers with you. Luke had a growth removed from his anus and occasionally, when he gets excited, his anus may prolapse a bit, but most of the time it is normal. Although it is unknown if Luke could have more issues in the future, our vet has followed him very closely and he has been very stable. Luke is out of the puppy stage and a very mature boston looking for furever home. If you would like to give Luke his forever home, please submit an application at southerncrossbtr.com. What We Know:: 11 year-old, 20 pound, brown and white male, neutered Boston terrier; DOB: 5-25-15. He has never lived with cats, is best around older kids & does have some separation anxiety but will go get in his crate or in his bed. He has never shown any aggression towards people, but he will run up on bigger dogs when she is out walking them. He does that more out of curiosity than aggression. He has lived with a Yorkie and everything was fine between the two of them. He is basically calm and submissive and a little bit skittish when he first meets people, but then he will warm up to them. Alvin is a smart boy who knows commands is up-to-date on vaccinations & HW negative. He is good on a leash for multiple walks a day...when left at home by himself four hours or more, he will pee by the front door. Current vet advises us he has NO medical issues as of April 2026 visit. ##2808918##
