Story
From Charlotte's foster, Kandace, "Charlotte is a 4 year old Boston Terrier and came from a poor breeding background. She’s had 6 litters in her short 4 years. She has now been spayed and looking forward to her forever family and friends. Charlotte has quickly turned into a total love bug who craves all of the attention she can get! Her favorite activities include cuddling, cozying up with a soft blanket and following you around. She also enjoys being outside when the sun is shining, barking at squirrels, chewing a bone and chasing a ball but is not quite sure about how to bring it back yet. We are still working on potty training. She did try to mark her territory when she first arrived but that has been better. This may also improve now that she has been spayed.
She is crate trained and does well with that most of the time but occasionally will cry when first put up at night because she wanted to show you more love before bedtime. She loves men and women and per her previous home, she was good and patient with children. However, loud noises do tend to spook her. She has done well with smaller puppies but may be jealous of other adult dogs and will growl. She has alpha dog energy and would do amazing as the only dog but I believe with some time and work with experienced dog owners, she could work well in a multi-dog house. She does not resource guard food or toys but does get a little jealous if another dog wants attention at the same time she does. Charlotte needs love and affection and she will show it right back to you tenfold.

Her previous owner said, "She is being surrendered because she needs medical treatment (dental). She was given to a lady by a breeder a little over a month ago and she was in such poor shape at that time the lady just couldn't say no as she was really skinny. So, what should you know about Charlotte? She's four and had six litters in her short life. She weighs 20 lbs and is UTD on vaccinations but will need a heartworm test, spayed and a tooth pulled. She is about 90% housebroken but this lady has been taking her out every 1.5-2 hrs. She enjoys men, women, children of all ages, other dogs and even cats plus she doesn't eat out of the litter box which I think is a huge plus. She's awesome with the toddler in the home. The toddler can stack toys on her and she just lays there. She is crate trained, ok getting a bath, lets you take food or toys away although she is a counter surfer and likes the garbage can. She is a super sweet girl and just needs a soft place to land. She is fearful of loud noises so a quiet household would be best."
