You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bones – A One-of-a-Kind Pup with a Heart Full of Love Breed: French Bulldog/Boston Terrier Mix DOB: ~January 22, 2020 | Weight: 26 lbs Adoption Fee: $300 Apply at: www.adoggie4you.org Bones is a survivor—and a sweetheart. Rescued from a parking lot, emaciated and post-surgery, this little warrior was diagnosed with megaesophagus, a condition that makes eating and drinking a unique challenge. But with a custom-built Bailey chair, a strict feeding schedule (ProPlan Chicken & Rice + water only), and lots of love, Bones has defied the odds and thrived. He’s playful, incredibly affectionate, and bonds deeply with his people. Bones truly just wants to love and be loved. But Bones isn’t for everyone—he needs a very special home: Must be fed three times daily while upright in his chair (it’s how he “drinks” water too). No treats, snacks, or food on the floor—he will find and swallow them, risking his life. No small children (due to food/toy hazards). Supervision outdoors is a must—he's got a nose for trouble and a stomach that can’t handle it. Muzzle walks only to prevent accidental ingestion. While caring for Bones takes commitment, his capacity for love makes every extra effort worthwhile. He gets along great with other dogs (with all food removed) and thrives in a structured, watchful environment. If you have a calm home, a big heart, and the dedication to care for a special needs dog, Bones will repay you with unconditional love. Bones is not available for out of Texas adoption.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 2, 2025, 10:24 am

Story
Looking for a little dog with a whole lot of heart? Meet Ian! Ian is a 1.5-year-old black and white sweetheart who proves every day that a rough start does not define your future. This pint-sized boy previously suffered a hip injury, which has healed beautifully, and his happy, playful spirit never missed a beat. Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of contagious joy. He loves attention, enjoys romping around with his toys, and is always ready for a cuddle when playtime winds down. He does well with other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to a home with canine friends. Ian also loves his food and is happily not picky. He eats from a slow-feeder bowl to help him enjoy his meals at a healthy pace and aid digestion. Medical Transparency (the important but reassuring part): Ian has Diabetes Insipidus, which is not the same as diabetes mellitus. This condition affects how his body concentrates urine and has nothing to do with blood sugar. • Oral medication only — no shots or injections • Takes medication twice daily to maintain healthy urine concentration and support full bladder emptying • Medication may be lifelong or temporary, depending on future veterinary guidance • Medication cost can vary depending on the veterinarian or pharmacy • Needs frequent potty breaks Ian does wonderfully on his routine and is otherwise a happy, active, affectionate young dog. He is looking for a loving home that will appreciate his joyful personality and continue his simple daily care so he can thrive for years to come. Are you ready to give this resilient, playful boy the forever home he deserves? Basic Info: Male, 1 yr old, Boston Terrier/Chihuahua, Coat: Black and White, neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots and preventions, preventatives. Local adoption fee (Texas) - $200 Out of state adoption (includes transport to your area) ‐ $450

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT 🚀💛 Meet Rocket Man — Small Dog, Big Heart, Maximum Cuteness 💛🚀 Male • 3 Years Old • ~15 lbs • Pug/Chihuahua Mix Rocket Man may be a compact little guy at just 15 pounds, but his story — and his heart — are anything but small. When Rocket first arrived, he was so scared he wouldn’t even let anyone touch him. But with patience, kindness, and a whole lot of quiet encouragement, he slowly discovered that people can actually be pretty wonderful. Watching him blossom has been nothing short of amazing. Now this sweet boy has turned into a loving, affectionate little companion who enjoys laying beside you — or even better, right on top of you if you'll allow it. He’ll happily give kisses, accept kisses in return, and soak up every bit of love you’re willing to share. Rocket is still a sensitive soul, though. Quick movements or unfamiliar situations can make him a little nervous, and he’s still working on one big hurdle: being picked up. It’s something he’s learning slowly, and he’ll need a patient family willing to keep building his confidence at his own pace. Where Rocket truly shines is with other dogs. He absolutely adores them and will need a friendly canine sibling in his forever home to help him feel safe and secure. He forms strong bonds with his doggy friends — playing, cuddling, curling up for naps, and even giving them little “spa treatments” by licking their faces while they return the favor. To Rocket, dog friends are the best security blanket there is. He’s also very treat motivated. Say the magic words “Are you ready?” and you’ll see a tiny rocket launch straight toward you for his treat. And then there’s the adorable Rocket Man face — because this boy has the cutest little underbite. Sometimes his lips get adorably stuck on his teeth (which is honestly comedy gold), and when he’s napping you’ll often catch the tiniest tip of his tongue peeking out. It’s the kind of face that makes you laugh without even trying. 🐾 Rocket Man’s Highlights: • 3 years old • ~15 lbs (small but sturdy) • Sweet, affectionate, and loving once he trusts you • Loves laying beside you or right on top of you • Very playful and social with other dogs • Must have a friendly canine sibling • Great with cats • Good with respectful older kids who understand giving him space • Housetrained and knows how to use a doggie door • Treat motivated (snacks = instant motivation) • Famous for his adorable underbite, stuck lips, and sleepy “blep” tongue Rocket would do best in a quieter home — maybe with a retired person, someone who works from home, or a family that simply enjoys a calm environment. He thrives when life is predictable and gentle. And every day when you come home? Rocket will be the first one there to greet you, tail wagging, happy to see his favorite person again. This little guy has already come so far. Now he just needs a forever family willing to give him the love, patience, and security he deserves. And once you earn Rocket Man’s trust… you’ll have a professional cuddle buddy, and part-time comedy act for life. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give Rocket Man the forever home he’s been working so hard to find. 🐾💛
