Story
Sweet Pea is a senior, female, Boston Terrier. She will be turning 14 on March 17th. She is a such a good girl and seems to get along with the other dogs that she has met. She is house trained and potty trained and loves to play with her toys, chew on treats, and enjoy a comfortable spot to lay. She is starting to lose her hearing and her sight, but she adapts very well. Sweet Pea has been with her brother Mr. T for a little over a year. While they aren’t “bonded”, they do enjoy each other’s company and are going through this major life transition of needing a new home, so we are hoping to find a home where they can stay together! Sweet Pea is spayed, microchipped, HW negative, and up to date on vaccines. She does have a heart murmur. We do have access to a few years of vet records for her, and are happy to answer any questions that we are able to about her. She is not on any daily medications and she has had some lumps checked over the years. If you are interested in potentially meeting Sweet Pea and Mr. T - please fill out the adoption application available at www.texassweetiesdogrescue.org . The combined adoption fee for the pair - Mr. T and Sweet Pea - is $300.

Story
Mr. T (f.k.a.Taco) is an approximately 7-8 year old male Boston Terrier. He’s a big sweet boy weighing in around 28 pounds. He is so full of love and ready to share it with everyone that he meets! Mr. T LOVES other dogs (at least all that he’s met while in foster care). He does really want to play, so he will love to have either a very patient fur-sibling that will let him be a bit over excited at first or a fur-sibling that matches his playful vibe! Think of him as a big playful puppy! Mr. T also loves walks and will wait by his leash and remind you daily that he is a good boy and should get to go on a walk! Mr. T also loves toys and they are a must in the house. He tends to be a very mouthy/toothy player and thinks hands and feet are also toys when he’s excited (how puppies play bite hands/feet), and is actively learning to only use his mouth to play with toys. He will definitely need this training to continue in a patient furever home! When Mr. T is not playing; you will find him happily snoozing in a sun beam or cuddled across a human’s lap. He is so sweet and sensitive and will make the perfect companion for the right home! Mr. T has been with his sister, Sweet Pea, for a little over a year. While they aren’t “bonded”, they do enjoy each other’s company and are going through this major life transition of needing a new home, so we are hoping to find a home where they can stay together! Mr. T is Heartworm negative, neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He is also house trained and crate trained. He does get allergies sometimes and he has been prescribed allergy meds when they flare up. If you are interested in potentially meeting Sweet Pea and Mr. T - please fill out the adoption application available at www.texassweetiesdogrescue.org . The combined adoption fee for the pair - Mr. T and Sweet Pea - is $300.

Story
Hi, I'm Rosie. I'm a 1year old Boston mix that loves to run and explore around the yard. I'm sure you're wondering about my cleft but no worries I can eat and drink just fine. It gives me a super unique and cute look though. I love, love, love stuffed toys and antlers. I also LOVE to snuggle with my hoomans. I don't do so well with other females as I want to be the only Queen in the house but I play well with the gentlemen after proper introduction. I wasn't house or kennel trained when my rescue took me in and I came to my foster home but my foster mom worked hard on it with me and now I'm good if I'm let out regularly. My foster mom says I'm a joy to have around and I will make a great family member to the right family. If you're interested in meeting my cute self and make me part of your family please fill out an adoption application for me at adoption.poundpupandfriends.org. My adoption donation is $150 and for that I'm spayed, microchipped, up to date on my vaccines, heartworm. Negative and current on hw and flea prevention. I sure hope to meet my new furever family soon ❤ No out of state adopters accepted - Texas only. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Story
Lulu is a 6‑month‑old, 21‑pound Boston Terrier mix with the softest eyes and the gentlest little heart. She may be shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into the sweetest, most affectionate girl. She’s spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, and heartworm negative. Lulu is kennel trained and making great progress with her potty training — she’s almost got it down. Lulu gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is polite around cats, choosing to simply ignore them. Because she gains confidence from canine friends, she’ll thrive in a home with another playful, friendly dog who can show her the ropes. If you’re looking for a tender, gentle companion who will reward your patience with endless love, Lulu might be your perfect match. Story
Meet Minnie, a 2-year-old Pug mix weighing 27 pounds with the cutest little underbite and a beautiful white chest and collar that gives her a “queenly” look. She’s as sweet as she is adorable and fully believes she’s here to love you… and collect a few treats along the way. Minnie is a happy, playful girl with a medium to high energy level. She loves playing with her foster dog siblings and enjoys toys, especially antlers and squeaky toys. She’ll chase a ball here and there, but she’d much rather engage with her people or other dogs than nap the day away. She’s very alert and will pop up quickly if she hears something new, making her both entertaining and a great little watchdog. She is house trained, though she has had a few recent accidents that may be related to medication she’s currently on while recovering from heartworm treatment. Minnie is crate trained with a little encouragement, especially if a treat is involved, and she settles in nicely once inside. When left alone, she does well resting in her crate for 4 to 8 hours. Minnie is great with tweens and teens and would do well in a home with or without kids. She gets along well with other dogs, especially those in the 30 to 60 pound range, and enjoys having playmates. Cats and other animals are unknown at this time. She’s a smart girl who already knows sit and shake and is currently working on “come here,” “lay down,” and “get in your box.” On leash, Minnie is still learning and can be a bit of a zig-zagger who pulls, but with consistency and a little patience, she’ll continue to improve. She is very food motivated, which makes training easier and fun. Car rides can make Minnie a little nervous, though she has already started improving. For longer trips, she may benefit from some calming support, but she’s making great progress and gaining confidence. Minnie’s ideal home is simply one that will love her. She’s affectionate, playful, and full of personality. When you look into her eyes, she seems to say, “I’m a cutie patootie, here to give you love and kisses,” and she truly means it. If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling and shower you with affection, Minnie may be your perfect match. You can apply directly for Minnie by clicking the Apply for Adoption button on the linked page. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-799 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
