Story
Meet Belle, a beautiful 5-year-old Boston Terrier with that classic, lovable “Boston” personality. Her energy level is a perfect happy medium—she enjoys playing with her toys, but the moment you scoop her up, she’s content to relax and snuggle in your arms or cuddle beside you on the couch. Belle is friendly with everyone she meets, including other dogs and cats. She takes treats gently, is potty trained and kennel trained, walks nicely on a leash, and rides well in the car. She’s also a great eater. Belle is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and recently had a dental cleaning. She currently weighs 18 pounds and could benefit from gaining a pound or two. Belle would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for an affectionate, easygoing dog with just the right amount of playfulness. 🐾💖 Adoption fee is: $ ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022

Story
Hi! My name is Bear! I love playing fetch and chewing on chew toys (especially the squeaky ones)! I also love car rides, watching birds, learning tricks, and lounging. I am a bit shy at first but I come out of my shell quickly. I am dog friendly too. I used to live with a kitty but I am a little too interested in them because they are just too cool. I am amazing with children and love them so much. Bones are the best. Speaking of, I am very food motivated and a great listener! I am potty trained and crate trained too. All of my basic commands are mastered with ease, and I can even spin! I have been to doggy camp and I I received a 5 star report card! Cuddling is my favorite and I am looking for someone who will let me sit in their lap for snuggles. Could that be you?

Story
✨ Fred is officially ready for his forever home. ✨This incredibly sweet boy came to us from the Dallas shelter after being found beside his deceased owner, scared and at risk of euthanasia. Despite everything he’s been through, Fred has shown nothing but quiet resilience and love. When Fred first arrived, we were concerned about possible diabetes, eye ulcers, and severe anemia. In just a few short weeks, he’s already made amazing progress — his blood glucose is back to normal, his eye is improving, and while he is still anemic, he’s under close veterinary care with a follow-up scheduled to rule out any underlying masses.Fred is blind — but don’t let that fool you. His hearing is incredible, and his heart is even bigger. He quickly learns voices, footsteps, and routines. His favorite place in the world? Curled up in your arms or sleeping peacefully right beside you. He’s calm, affectionate, and so grateful for every bit of comfort he’s given.Fred doesn’t need perfect — he just needs gentle. A quiet home, a warm lap, and someone who will love him for the precious boy he is. 💛If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will treasure every moment with you, Fred is waiting. To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.https://longwayhome.org/apply ❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.
