Boudreaux is a very loyal and loving Frenchie who thrives on affection and cuddling. He’s crate trained, house trained, and loves sleeping in with his people. He’s a sweet boy who enjoys attention and being part of the family. However, he has significant food aggression and cannot live in a multi-dog household. He has attacked our other dogs multiple times, usually when high-value items like bones or chews are involved. Because of this, he needs to be an only dog in his new home. He would do best with an experienced owner who can manage his food aggression and give him structure. Happy to share all medical records and discuss his needs. No need to adjust your set! Yes, this is Westie & Scottie Rescue and, yes, that is a French Bulldog. Sometimes our fosters are willing to take in other breeds they have experience with, allowing us to help those in dire need. Meet DD, a girl who exemplifies dire need. DD was unwanted, kept in a crate on a porch and not even given a name. When she arrived at Wescue, she was severely underweight, had skin and ear infections, hip dysplasia on both sides and bilateral luxating patellas. (Ever buy a Frenchie off Craigslist or the side of the road? Don’t be surprised if the mama was like DD.) Despite all that, DD could not be sweeter! She is healing in the care of her awesome foster family with vet guidance. When she is well enough, she will be spayed and have her knees fixed. Meanwhile she is working on housetraining and soaking up all the love needed to make up for her previous neglect. DD will be looking for a furever home when she is ready. Will it be with you? Frenchie experience required! DD will be vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and tested heartworm negative. Her adoption donation includes 6 months’ heartworm preventative meds, prepaid lifetime premium microchip registration, and safety harness.
