Story
NEWBIE ALERT!! Meet Ellie! This sweet girl lost her momma and sadly is now looking for a new home to calm her own. She is a purebred boxer. She is going on 5 years old and weighs 60 lbs. Ellie is a total sweetheart. She has grew up in a calmer — older household and likely that is what will be best for her. She’s never been around small children or cats. She does well with dogs if properly introduced and has done well at doggy daycare. She prefers women over men but isn’t aggressive to anyone. She is crate trained and will use a doggy door. She’s a chill and laid back girl. Breed experience is preferred. Ellie is yes, hw neg (tested below detectable levels) and spayed.  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This handsome, good boy is Truman and he came to us as a dumped stray.  We believe Truman was born around 1/18/22 and is a stunning black with white Boxer/Bully mix.  Truman is very sweet, friendly and loving and will make a wonderful addition to almost any home.  Truman is a young boy and likes to play with other dogs but we have not had him around cats (if you submit your application, we can cat test).  We took Truman to our Amazing Vets because we noticed his tail looks 'wonky'.  Well after x-rays, it looks like he has a congenital issue with some of the vertebrae in a couple spots on his tail. This deformity in his tail is not bothering him at all now, but we want to mention that he may need amputation of his tail later in life, if it causes arthritic related problems. Truman is a medium sized dog, so we like to recommend a home with a fenced in backyard and/or plans for daily exercise and socialization. If you're not in a position to adopt, Truman would love to be in a Foster home while waiting for his forever home! Amazing Grace Bully Rescue is a foster based rescue in the Pensacola, Florida area.  We do not have a physical building. If you would like to meet any of our pups, the first step is to fill out our online application so we can contact you. Truman is neutered, current on shots, rabies vaccine, and a registered microchip. If you would like to adopt this Amazing dog, please fill out our online adoption application at www.amazinggracebullyrescue.org If you have any questions, please text your question to 850-723-2037.  You may also send a message to our Amazing Grace Bully Rescue Page on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or send an email directly to amazinggracebullyrescue@gmail.com Disclaimer:  We are located in the Pensacola, Florida area and will consider local applicants first, especially with puppies since we use a vet in the local area.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 26, 2024, 8:57 am

Story
Rowan is 3 years old and has spent most of his life waiting for his forever home. He always has a big smile on his face. Rowan loves to play with all dogs and doesn't bother the cats in his foster home. Before coming to Sweet Home Animal Rescue he spent a year in an outdoor kennel at the shelter. Now he has almost been in our care for 1 year. Rowan deserves to have a family of his own. He does well on leash, would love to snuggle, and is great around children of all ages. His ideal home is an active household that would allow him to take part in their adventures. *All adoptable animals have been spayed/neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm tested (when age-appropriate), microchipped, vet checked, dewormed, and kept on monthly preventatives while in our care. **All adoptables are listed as not housebroken.
