Story
Hey there! Bubba here! You are looking at an adorable boxer/terrier mix that is about eighteen months old. I think I am one cute guy! Oh and talk about personality...well you know us boxers can be just a bit goofy, but oh so loveable! I was picked up by Animal Control when a kind neighbor called about me needing a home. So they zoomed out to pick me up and I got settled into the big dog run at the shelter. I was never claimed by my family and now I can look for a new home. In case you are interested in adding me to your "fam" you should know that I have all of my vaccinations, that I have a microchip, and that I have been neutered. Oh one small problem did show up on my health check up. It seems that I am heartworm positive, but I am not worried! I know the shelter will see me through my treatment and also help me find a new home.

Story
Noah’s heart is as giant as his big ol’ puppy dog eyes. Seriously, he has “puppy dog eyes” on lockdown and we’re all suckers for it. They’re his secret weapon; one look from Noah and you’ll be wrapped around his little paw. Noah was rescued from a local high-kill animal shelter and had a broken leg when he joined us. Thankfully, Noah was able to avoid surgery and his leg healed beautifully on its own. He showed us just how patient and resilient he was during the few weeks he spent on strict crate rest, never once complaining about his leash-only trips outside and lack of puppy playtime. Now, Noah has healed and is ready to find his family. Let's find this sweet soul the forever home he deserves, where he can finally run free and embrace his silliest sides. - Noah is just over a year old, which means he’s said goodbye to most of those pesky puppy habits but still has his best years ahead of him - At ~30ish lbs, he’s is the perfect size for so many different types of homes and families - Kiddo-friendly and used to living with tiny humans - Dog-friendly and having a blast while relearning how to play after his accident - Neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative

Story
Roxy is a boxer mix that I got in February 2021 at the Phenix City animal shelter. She was born around October-November 2020. Roxy is an extremely sweet dog. She loves people and LOVES kids. She has a ton of energy but also loves snuggling and cuddling. Trust me, she will TAKE OVER your bed if you let her sleep with you. As much as it pains me and my children, I just cannot give her the life she needs. We are an extremely busy family and Roxy has to spend a lot of time alone as a result. She would be perfect for a family with kids, maybe even one with a stay-at-home parent that can spend a lot more time with her than I can.

Story
Welcome to Astronomy 101! Class is now in session. POP QUIZ: 1. According to the leading experts in astrophysics, which of the following is the MOST accurate definition of a nova: A. The strong and sudden increase in brightness of a white dwarf star B. Inspiration for the smash hit “Supernova Girl” from the Disney Channel Original Movie, ZENON: Girl of the 21st Century C. The most adorable, affectionate, and adoptable dog on planet Earth D. All of the above We will accept both C and D as correct answers. If you’re confused, refer to the following excerpt from p. 149 to learn more. “Of all the stars in the sky, this Nova shines the brightest. She is a one(ish)-year-old boxer mix with a ginormous heart and a personality as goofy as those ears; yes, one ear really does stand up straight at all times and yes, we agree that it’s perfect. At 50% zoomies and 50% couch potato, Nova will definitely help you reach your daily step count—but like, let’s not get crazy. Unless there’s a water hose involved. Then let’s DEFINITELY get crazy. Most importantly, Nova is as sweet as they come and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She is dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and oh so patiently waiting for her forever spot in the world. Nothing would make her happier than the chance to join your family. Nova is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and cleared for launch—all systems are go.”
