Abandoned, taken to the shelter and fighting off parvo they’ve overcome every obstacle thrown their way. We’re determined that the later part of their lives will be happy, healthy and in the forever homes they so deserve. This litters heritage is a mystery. For now we are calling them chihuahua mixes due to their small size but their parentage is unknown. What we do know is that they are beyond cute and every single puppy is enthusiastic and happy go lucky. They just might be the happiest group of pups we’ve ever saved. Even when parvo tried to take them down they were all wiggles and puppy kisses. So if you’re looking for some cute puppy enthusiasm, don’t mind endless puppy kisses and need a shot of joy to your life these pups just might be the ones for you! This beautiful guy is Chili who was rescued in the knick of time from the Downey shelter in LA.Chili is very sweet and playful, but can easily get over stimulated and gets very excited when meeting a new person and starts jumping. Chili is in need of someone who can give him the exercise he needs and can handle his very exuberant personality. Therefore we are looking for a very calm, alpha human who can be a leader to him, preferably with Boxer experience. We are looking for a home for him where he will be the only pet with no children. Once he knows you Chili is actually is a very loving and affectionate guy who loves to play, really likes toys and loves to play fetch. He walks on the leash like an angel but gets excited when he seed other dogs, but gets along fine when meeting them. Chili is neutered, chipped, and up to date on all routine vaccinations. He is about 5 years old and weighs 65 pounds. She loves people and will greet every single person she meets with a big ole pittie grin and an invitation to pet her velvety body. Shes happiest when she’s giving and receiving love. She longs to sit as close to you as possible and is determined to be your very own oversized lapdog if you’ll let her. If that doesn’t totally melt your heart the way she cared for her babies will. She was a great mom! Good momma dogs are often excellent family dogs as they bring that caring and nurturing nature to the home. We have a feeling that’s exactly what this sweet girl will do. She’s going to totally win your heart and take over your couch. Can you believe such a sweet girl almost didn’t make it out of the shelter alive? She was euthanasia listed because she was very protective of her babies. What mom wouldn’t be in a shelter environment? It’s loud, it’s scary, the smell of fear and death surrounds them and their only job is to protect the tiny souls they just brought into this world. We saw past her defensive nature and got her and all 9 babies out and to the safety of our ranch. Guess what happened then? A few days in a calm and safe environment uncovered the sweetest momma on the planet. She just wanted to make sure her babies were safe and then she showed us who she really was a big ole mushy lover. Our Velvet Hippo is such a love. Her soft eyes pull you in and then the pittie wiggles start. She’s a ranch staff favorite and now that her motherhood duties are complete she’ll finally get to focus on herself and work towards having the life she should have had from the beginning. Ranch staff are working on basic obedience skills and her leash manners. She’s a strong girl and has a tendency to pull and plow through things in her search for more attention. She loves toys of all shapes and sizes, outside time and all the soft warm spaces she can find. Shes perfect in her crate and takes treats super gentle like the lady she is. Her future family will be getting the biggest love bug with a heart of gold. If you love the underdogs, if you love the kind energy of a mom you won’t want to let this girl pass you by. He’s making up for all the time he lost and showing us just how very grateful he is. These dogs know when they’ve been saved and they absolutely know they’re getting their 2nd chance. Sometimes a chance is all that’s needed to give life when life was just a hope. Glory is celebrating every minute of the life he now has. This sweet boy is pretty incredible. As part of the 50 dog hoarding case out of California City where he was starved and confined to a small crate he should be emotionally damaged. He should hate humans and never trust again but he doesn’t. He loves everyone familiar face and stranger alike. He loves his canine friends too and has this enthusiasm that’s infectious. What a great dog who just needed a chance. We are thankful everyday we could give him the chance he needed and can now show him the life he was meant to have. Glory is ready to start the next chapter in his life. He’s ready to be a loved member of a family. He’s ready to truly live and he loved. You can continue his journey by giving him the gift of an amazing life through adoption. You’ll be saving the life you adopt but also saving the life of the dog we pull in his place.
