This beautiful guy is Chili who was rescued in the knick of time from the Downey shelter in LA.Chili is very sweet and playful, but can easily get over stimulated and gets very excited when meeting a new person and starts jumping. Chili is in need of someone who can give him the exercise he needs and can handle his very exuberant personality. Therefore we are looking for a very calm, alpha human who can be a leader to him, preferably with Boxer experience. We are looking for a home for him where he will be the only pet with no children. Once he knows you Chili is actually is a very loving and affectionate guy who loves to play, really likes toys and loves to play fetch. He walks on the leash like an angel but gets excited when he seed other dogs, but gets along fine when meeting them. Chili is neutered, chipped, and up to date on all routine vaccinations. He is about 5 years old and weighs 65 pounds. Obi is great with kids but not toddlers again he is just too big. Obi need an active family willing to run and play hard. Nani was living on the street when she was found by a volunteer. We were told that someone purchased her for $20, but could not keep her, and so he gave her to another man, who also could not keep her, but loved her dearly, and wanted to find her rescue. He then gave her to our volunteer, and the rest is the beginning of her new story! Nani is a mix breed puppy, and we suspect she is part Boxer, but have sent in the DNA to confirm that. She is about 14-16 weeks old. She is UTD with her vaccines, and will be spayed when she is of age. She is a spunky puppy, and needs a home that will be committed to her training, and proper guidance. She loves to play and will need some help knowing what is an appropriate chew toy. She will likely grow in to be a medium/large sized dog, and would do best in a home where someone is home often, especially in her puppy phase. Smart and loyal, he’s been well trained at Blue Dog Ranch in Burbank and is eager to show off his skills. He’s excellent in the car, loves car rides and the beach. He is quiet in the home and loves meeting new guests. While he may intimidate any potential intruders, he is more likely to lick their hands. He has never met a person he didn’t love and is a soft cuddling companion. His good nature and handsome looks draw smiles and compliments from passersby. Jasper is looking for a calm, adult household with yard access. He’s very healthy, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped. Brix is the most loving, caring, patient, gentle giant you will ever meet. Brix's story began with a not so good owner who abandoned him in the desert and let him starve. He is a rescue from the local pound. When I met Brix he was put in a building with other pit-bulls. But he was not like the rest he greeted me while others barked and growled. I took my puppy home to discover he loves food and he loves to cuddle. He is ok with other dogs. He is good with children. He LOVES to swim. And he enjoys adventures in the car (not for too long) or on a hiking trail. He has allergies at the current time and needs a family that can meet his medical diet. I have all his medical records and will provide copies for his new family.
