Story
This handsome boy is super sweet and responsive. He has beautiful eyes and cute little freckles. He is very people friendly but would do better with female dogs and small dogs and non reactive with cats. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. It is unknown how he would do with children. He is very smart Ana would do better with a dog savvy owner. He really is the full package. Beautiful, smart and sweet.

Story
Courtesy Post – Rehoming Needed This dog is not at the shelter. Meet Luka – a joyful and energetic 1.5-year-old female Boxer (fawn with black and white markings). &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Spayed/Neutered: No (on a waitlist for spay before Boxer Rescue can take her) &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Vaccines: Current &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Potty trained: Yes &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Crate trained: Yes Luka has been with her family since she was a young puppy. She is a well-socialized, affectionate, and playful girl who loves children, enjoys people of all ages, and thrives in an active environment. She has lived around dogs and kids. Luka is incredibly athletic and sometimes uses her strength and energy in ways that can be difficult to manage—such as chasing or getting too rough with small animals. Because of this, Luka will do best in a home without livestock or small critters. If left indoors provide toys to help stimulate her and redirect her energy. Her family describes her as loving, eager to please, enthusiastic, and curious. She greets visitors with joy and excitement, always hoping for playtime, pets, or a game of fetch. Luka would be a wonderful match for an experienced adopter who can give her structure, training, and outlets for her high energy. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Luka, please contact her owner, Tezerash, directly: Phone: (916) 539-3534 Email: jjjjorgens@yahoo.com All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Story
*Courtesy Post**Courtesy Post - Nala is not at the shelter, if you are interested please contact her current owner at nathanmadden164@yahoo.com*  Meet Nala! Nala is a friendly and energetic 1 year old boxer mix looking for a new home where she can thrive. She’s been part of her current family since she was 10 weeks old and has been well-loved, but her owners feel she would do best in a home where she can get the one-on-one attention she deserves. She has lived as an inside dog and is used to being part of the family. She does not like being alone and has jumped her owner's fence when left by herself in the yard.  Nala gets very excited when meeting people and may jump in her enthusiasm, so she’s often crated when small children are around to prevent accidental tumbles. She’s looking for a new family who can provide her with consistent training, patience, and lots of love. With the right attention and guidance, Delta has so much potential to be a wonderful companion. If you’re interested in meeting Nala, please contact Nathan at (530) 828-1024 or email nathanmadden164@yahoo.com. Let’s help Nala find her perfect forever home! All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Story
Charlie is a handsome, soulful 6-year-old boxer mix who is ready to begin his next chapter after experiencing a heartbreaking loss. He came to the shelter on December 4 after his beloved human mom passed away. It's clear from everything Charlie does that he was deeply loved and well cared forâ&#194&#128&#194&#148and now he's hoping to find that kind of love again. On Charlie's first day trip out of the shelter, he showed just how special he is. From the moment he hopped into an SUV and a company work truck with ease, it was obvious this boy knows how to be a great companion. He enjoys car rides, calmly looks out the window (check out picture below!), and happily sticks his head out when cruising around town. Charlie spent the day running errands and meeting peopleâ&#194&#128&#194&#148and was absolutely perfect. He met approximately 20 people in a professional office setting and greeted everyone politely and calmly. He is not fazed by everyday noises such as automatic flushing toilets, paper towel and soap dispensers, printers, or general office sounds. Out in public, Charlie continued to impress. He helped pick up supplies at Ace Hardware, greeting people in the store and parking lot with ease He walked confidently through parking lots and parks, passing other dogs without issueâ&#194&#128&#194&#148even when small dogs barked at him, Charlie simply looked and kept walking. He did wonderfully inside Pet Food Express, taking treats gently and showing no fear of automatic sliding doors. He enjoyed attention from people entering and exiting Planet Fitness and Safeway, and even went inside Safeway with no issues around carts, air curtains, or foot traffic.Charlie patiently waited in line at Starbucks for a pup cupâ&#194&#128&#194&#148something he clearly remembered and knew the routine for. He sat politely, accepted his treat with â&#194&#128&#194&#156class,â&#194&#128&#194&#157 and enjoyed every moment. Between errands, Charlie relaxed calmly in the car when left alone, showing that he is trustworthy and well-mannered. He is fully potty trained and has no resource-guarding with food, treats, or toys. Charlie is the kind of dog who fits seamlessly into everyday life. He's calm, confident, social, and adaptableâ&#194&#128&#194&#148perfect for someone looking for a loyal companion who already understands how to live in a human world. His gentle manners and steady personality make him a wonderful candidate for a working professional, a senior citizen, a veteran, or any family looking for a loving, well-rounded dog.Adoption fee of $50 Fee is waived for veterans. Adoption includes: 2 weeks of pet coaching/training; approximately $100 in coupons; and Charlieâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s harness, leash, and supplies. Charlie has already proven he's ready to love again. All he's missing is a forever home where he can feel safe, cherished, and part of a family once more. If you're looking for a loyal companion with excellent manners and a big heart, Charlie is waiting for you at Yolo County Animal Shelter in Woodland. Story
Knight is a 3-year-old Boxer mix who loves working with his people. Smart, playful, and very people-oriented, he thrives with structure, training, and daily activity. He bonds quickly, tries hard to please, and enjoys learning new things. Knight is affectionate with adults and enjoys kids, though his enthusiasm makes him best suited for older or dog-savvy children. He has lived successfully with his senior canine companion Bee. He is not suitable for homes with cats or small dogs and may do well with medium or large dogs after proper introductions. He is fully house-trained and crate-trained, walks well on leash, and knows sit, come, down, off, leave-it, heel, crate, spin, and go around. Knight is healthy, neutered, and current on rabies vaccination. He’s looking for an experienced, active home that enjoys engagement and partnership. Ideal for an experienced adopter who enjoys training and an active, engaged relationship with their dog.
