In July of 2024 my partner and I adopted Rex from the Chatsworth Animal Shelter. Rex is a lovable, kind playful, energetic dog who just wants to be loved. Rex is a 3 year old Boxer/Pit but he is mostly Boxer. He loves to go on hikes, play fetch and jump for joy when you come home. Rex does have separation anxiety and is a natural guard dog. He loves to do his nightly walks around the home and confirm everything and everyone is in their right place. He needs a home that will allow him to let out his energy and let him be a guard dog. Rex is naturally cautious and is always nervous when meeting new people. Due to Rex being that natural guard dog and being a rescue, he unfortunately did bite a relative of ours when entering the home. Rex is not inherently aggressive, he is just scared. Rex needs to be in a home that can handle a behaviorally challenged dog, a home that will be patient with him. If you give him love, he will give you all the love in the world back.

Bailey has a ton of love to give! Shes high energy which requires an experienced owner who has time for continued training and guidance. Bailey has attended a 6 week board and train and did very well. She likes to be the center of attention and would do well as the only dog. She has resource guarding issues with me and our other dogs, so its led to a very tense household. I added that she does well with other dogs, and I think she would do well with a male vs female. She has a little anxiety, so patience and a calm environment would be good for her. Please ask any questions. Rehome fee is to ensure the adopter takes this seriously and has the means to care for her. I was only able to upload one photo which doesn't showcase her beauty and sweet demeanor. 🥰 She was tired from playing in that photo. She does well in a crate which is used for feeding and some alone time to relax and enjoy her chew toys.
