Story
Hi there, I’m Khloe! 🐾I’m a 2-year-old Boxer with a whole lot of energy and love to give. Running, playing outside, and chasing ducks are some of my favorite activities, and when the day winds down, I’m happiest curled up close and enjoying cuddle time.I’m a friendly, playful, and loyal girl who thrives on attention. Chew toys are a big hit with me, and I love being part of whatever my people are doing. I came to the shelter because my previous owner worked long hours and felt it wasn’t fair for me to spend so much time kenneled—I was very loved, and this was a difficult but thoughtful decision.I do well with other dogs and enjoy having furry friends. I’ve been introduced to a cat and didn’t show any aggression, though I do have a strong instinct to chase, so a cat-aware home would be best.Like most Boxers, I’m active and sometimes forget my own size and strength. I would benefit from basic obedience training and some help with house manners, and I’m eager to learn with the right guidance. If you’re looking for an affectionate, fun-loving companion who will keep you moving and shower you with love, I might just be your girl. 💕Requirements: Martingale CollarAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
Hi there… I’m Olive 💚I’m a senior pit bull mix with a beautiful brindle coat, a very sugar-sweet face, and a heart that’s still full of love. I was adopted from H.A.L.O. many years ago when I was a much younger girl, and recently I found my way back after being surrendered to an animal control in another county. I can’t tell you much about what happened—but I can tell you I’m still the same gentle, loving Olive I’ve always been.Even though parts of my story are a mystery, I’ve been friendly with dogs and cats here at the shelter, and the humans say my calm, kind nature would make me a wonderful companion for people of all ages. I really just want to be near my people, soaking up affection and giving it right back.A little health update from me: when I arrived, I had a mass on my belly, but it was fully removed and biopsied—and the results came back benign (whew!). I also recently had a dental polish, so my smile is now just as sparkling as my personality ✨I probably still remember my house manners too—after all, I left H.A.L.O. almost a decade ago and lived in a home for many years. One small warning though… when treats come out, I get very excited, so please watch your fingers—I promise it’s enthusiasm, not bad intentions! If you’re looking for a sweet senior with a soulful gaze, gentle manners, and a face that quietly pleads “please give me a home,” I’d love to meet you. All I want for my golden years is a cozy place, kind humans, and someone to love me forever 🐾💛Requirements: Martingale CollarAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Story
Meet Cosito, the bundle of energy with a heart as big as the ocean! Cosito is a spirited companion who's always ready for an adventure. Rescued and ready for his forever home, Cosito is eager to find a family who shares his love for fun and excitement. With his high energy level, Cosito is the perfect companion for those who enjoy an active lifestyle. He's a water enthusiast, making him the perfect companion for beach days or trips to the lake. Cosito also enjoys being pampered oh and potty training? dont even worry i already nailed that! But what truly sets Cosito apart is his spunky attitude always making others laugh and bring joy. Whether it's cuddling on the couch or going for a walk in the park, Cosito is happiest when he's by your side. Although Cosito is a lovable companion, he does have a tendency to jump fences, so a secure yard is a must for him. Cosito is also dog selective so proper introductions are a must. While Cosito is strong on the leash and reactive so cosito would do best with an experienced adopter who can give guidance and training, he'll become the perfect walking companion. Overall, Cosito is a spirited and lovable pup with a zest for life, ready to bring joy and excitement into the lives of his forever family, he would do best in a home with adults only as Cosito isnt the biggest fan of the littles he just needs some good guidance to show they arent so scary. Cosito is bursting with love for his right people and a gentle giant at heart so are you ready to welcome this adventurous companion into your home?

Story
Hi there! I'm Major, a sweet boy who was rescued as a stray in Alabama by Big Dog Ranch Rescue. I might be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, my affectionate personality shines through! I just need a family that will understand this. I get along great with other dogs, and having furry friends around really helps me come out of my shell. I have a playful mindset and love to engage in fun activities-whether it's a game of fetch or just exploring the yard, I'm always ready for some adventure! When I'm not playing, I enjoy cuddling and soaking up all the love from my human companions. If you're looking for a sweet, playful guy who just needs a little time to feel comfortable, I might be the right fit! I hope to find my forever home soon!

Story
Koda is energized, and likes to play fetch, though mostly she's relaxed (she'll be 10 in March). Very intimidating-looking, with a loud bark, yet she warms up to you quickly. She's a big "teddy bear," so to speak. She thinks she's a small dog; loves to jump on people (in a friendly way). I haven't trained her on that yet. She's home trained, and also knows the following: Sit Stay Lay down Paw Go outside Vaccines are all up-to-date. Annual exams begin in April. Just so we're honest, she has environmental allergies. I tend to rinse her paws off or dip them into water after she goes outside. Apoquel is her go-to medicine (it isn't cheap). Paw licking is her trade, though I do have special socks for her that can be strapped on. Most pits are showcased as violent - not this one. She's a best friend I will dearly miss. If situations were different, I'd keep her. Please just give her some freedom and safety.

Story
We have had our dog since she was just five weeks old. She was born to a family dog and is now about eight years old. She is very playful, loves attention, and truly has the personality of a big baby. We are hoping to find her a loving family who can give her the care, attention, and affection she deserves. She enjoys playing with toys, is friendly, and would make a wonderful companion for the right home.
