He is loyal and protective to his people.He has resource guarding behaviors (food, toys, and sometimes space). He has never bitten, but has snapped (at people and other dogs) when he feels his resources are being threatened.Because of this, he needs:✔️ Adult-only home (no children) ✔️ Experienced dog owner✔️ Calm, structured environment ✔️ Someone willing to spend the time to work with him.Might be best as an only dog.This is not a beginner dog—but in the right home, he has so much potential to be a loyal, loving companion.

Duke is a very loving 4 year old pup, he gets along with other dogs but he generally likes to chill on the couch or the bed and be by himself. He loves pets and just being by you with whatever you're doing. Duke has come to me as a foster dog but has been abandoned in my care. I can not keep him unfortunately, even though I would it is not in the budget. Duke would love to be able to have a safe and secure landing space to call his own.
