Story
Another visit to the shelter, and Meryl’s effortlessly regal vibe and calm disposition amidst the surrounding noise were simply too hard to ignore. Meryl is estimated 6-7 years old and is around 60lbs. She has been dog friendly, but gravitates towards people more than dogs, pushing her way as politely as she can towards all your attention. She also loves a big cozy bed to sprawl out on. Meryl was found as a stray and needed surgery on her ear. She is healing now and now has a unique ear that adds to how cutie she is! I am a very gentle and friendly gentleman, just looking for a forever family and home to call my own. I might seem shy and timid at first, but this is all very new for me, and I promise to open up once I get the chance to know you a bit. I walk very calmly on a leash and enjoy nice peaceful walks by your side. I am also already house-trained! When we aren’t out on a sniffari, I love to wind down the day with some snuggles on the couch. If you adopt me, I promise to give you my whole entire heart in return. Ask to meet me! I would love to be your new best friend!Weighs around 70 lbs - House-trained! - Walks great on the leash!

Story
This is Storm. She’s three years old, super sweet, and loves giving hugs. Unfortunately, I’m not in a financial position to keep her or give her the time and stability she truly deserves. She could use a little training—she gets excited and may jump, and she sometimes seems nervous when men approach her kennel. I’m not sure what her past experiences were like, but she may not have always been treated kindly. She really is a loving, gentle dog and does amazing with kids and cats. She just needs a patient, caring home where she can feel safe and continue to thrive.

Story
Penny is a 7–8-year-old, ~50 lb spayed American Pit Bull Terrier/Black Mouth Cur mix who hasn’t slowed down one bit—she’s a fun, high-energy girl who loves being part of everything you do. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and knows basic cues. Penny is extremely affectionate and snuggly and will happily climb right into your lap—her signature move is sliding and rolling over at the same time to ask for belly rubs. Penny needs to be an only pet (no dogs/cats/other animals). She can get overly excited and jumpy, so she’s not a match for small or high-energy kids; she’d do best with adults or calm, dog-savvy older kids/teens. Penny also loves to chew and will destroy items left within reach, so she needs supervision, appropriate chew toys, and an active home that can give her daily exercise and attention. Rehoming is only because her owner can’t give her the time/energy she deserves—Penny will thrive with someone who wants an affectionate shadow and has time to keep her busy.

Story
This is very difficult for me to do. I love this dog but I feel like becoming a mom and a pet owner it’s something that has affected my mental health in a way I did not expect. I am looking for someone trustworthy, someone loyal. Someone that has time for her that can love her with everything they got. Sometimes I feel like she deserves better someone that has the time to dedicate to her. I know I am not giving her my all because my main focus are my children. Let me know if you are interested in Lucy. We can meet up and set up a playdate. I want to meet the person first before I make any final decisions.
