PERSONALITY: Hi, I’m Gaia and I’m basically a Beyoncé song—independent, smart, and LOYAL. My foster humans also say I’m gentle and kind, traits I perfected during those early days of motherhood. (My puppies all found their forever homes months ago, but I’m still searching for my own happily ever after. Thankfully, I’m so easygoing that it doesn't hurt my feelings.) SOCIAL SKILLS: I’m a big fan of other dogs who can match my vibe but am equally happy on my own. No cats, please. (Litter boxes? Really? Gross.) DREAM HOME: I’m not picky, but if I could only put one thing on my “must have” list, it would be a backyard for zoomies and naps in the sunshine. I def wouldn’t complain if there was a comfy couch I just happened to be allowed on. FAVE ACTIVITIES: Sunbathing, people-watching, long walks, and cuddling (especially cuddling) TRAINING NEEDS: I’m crate-trained and will hop right in on command, so you don’t have to worry about coming home to any surprise art projects. Although I’m strong (again… independent woman), I’ve been working hard on my leash skills just to impress you. With a patient teacher and some extra snacks, I know I can master anything you throw my way. THE FINE PRINT: I’m 2ish-years-old and most likely a boxer/staffy mix. Hello, have you seen my gorgeous brindle coat? I’m spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped, and receive my monthly preventatives like clockwork.

Story
Zeus has been a family-owned pet since birth. Our oldest son had him until he was 2 and then gave him to my husband and myself. He is now 5. Zeus is a very sweet and a loving dog; he is house trained and also trained all around for a dog. He is somewhat active, he likes to play with small stuffed animals and loves being outside but not for too long, he gets hot. The problem is he does not get along with other male dogs. We also have another dog that is female and have had both of them for 3 years, but he gets very jealous and has started fighting with her in the last 6 months. There have been 5 fights now and we need to give Zeus a new home. I would hate to have to put him down and do not want to bring him to a shelter that he will just sit in a kennel for God knows how long. Zeus is not neutered and is completely up to date on all his shots. I would best describe him with people as a loving, snuggle bug.

Her name is Meimei (pronounced May-May). We originally got her from a friend, and she’s been part of our family since she was a puppy. She’s crate trained (but not fully house trained yet) and knows basic commands like sit, stay, and no. Meimei is extremely playful and energetic. She grew up around our two young sons (ages 5 and 2) and is frequently around our nieces and nephew—she’s never had issues with children or other dogs. She’s been with our lab mix, Woody, since she was little, and the two of them get along great. She loves being outdoors and prefers to be with her people. She gets sad when she’s in the crate, but she doesn’t whine or bark to get out. Her favorite toys are stuffed animals (she tears through them pretty quickly), and she doesn’t like rubber or plastic toys. She eats mostly wet food and can be picky with dry kibble. Right now, she’s on Purina One Lamb & Beef, and sometimes the Sam’s Club version of the same flavor. Meimei is a sweet, loving dog

Rylo is a very good home trained dog and needs a good home. He listens very good and does not give me any problems. I unfortunately experienced something very traumatic and lost my boyfriend in front of me and I need to rehome him. I cannot take care of him anymore the way I used to due to personal reasons. He would be better off with in another home that can properly care for him. I have tried for two months to get a shelter to take him in and unfortunately they are all at capacity. I really cannot keep him anymore and would hope someone could take him in a care for him because he really is a great dog.

Daisy is 5 years old and is the sweetest little daintiest pit you'll ever meet! She loves cuddling up on the couch with a blanket and a pillow. Or sitting in the window watching the birds! She LOVES a good stuffy or toy to play, cuddle and chew. Her favorite time is when her bark box comes in the mail. She knows exactly what it is! Daisy is crate trained and house trained, but she will pee a tiny bit sometimes out of excitement or nervousness. She has the sweetest personality and would be such a loving addition to any home really! She grew up around other dogs and kids and does well meeting and getting pets and love from new people!
