Story
Noah’s heart is as giant as his big ol’ puppy dog eyes. Seriously, he has “puppy dog eyes” on lockdown and we’re all suckers for it. They’re his secret weapon; one look from Noah and you’ll be wrapped around his little paw. Noah was rescued from a local high-kill animal shelter and had a broken leg when he joined us. Thankfully, Noah was able to avoid surgery and his leg healed beautifully on its own. He showed us just how patient and resilient he was during the few weeks he spent on strict crate rest, never once complaining about his leash-only trips outside and lack of puppy playtime. Now, Noah has healed and is ready to find his family. Let's find this sweet soul the forever home he deserves, where he can finally run free and embrace his silliest sides. - Noah is just over a year old, which means he’s said goodbye to most of those pesky puppy habits but still has his best years ahead of him - At ~30ish lbs, he’s is the perfect size for so many different types of homes and families - Kiddo-friendly and used to living with tiny humans - Dog-friendly and having a blast while relearning how to play after his accident - Neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative

Story
Roxy is a boxer mix that I got in February 2021 at the Phenix City animal shelter. She was born around October-November 2020. Roxy is an extremely sweet dog. She loves people and LOVES kids. She has a ton of energy but also loves snuggling and cuddling. Trust me, she will TAKE OVER your bed if you let her sleep with you. As much as it pains me and my children, I just cannot give her the life she needs. We are an extremely busy family and Roxy has to spend a lot of time alone as a result. She would be perfect for a family with kids, maybe even one with a stay-at-home parent that can spend a lot more time with her than I can.

Story
Pluto is one of six perfect puppies born to our sweet Nova prior to joining the rescue. He and his siblings are lovingly referred to as the "Space Jam-mers". And now, it's time for a POP QUIZ! 1. Of the following astronomical events, which do scientists believe will result in the largest amount of happiness? A. Once-in-a-lifetime solar eclipse: attention hog, wants to fry your retinas, kind of anticlimactic B. Once-in-a-lifetime pup named Pluto: cuter than all of the stars in the sky, stays black for longer than four minutes, isn’t bitter about the whole “not a real planet” thing, 100% adoptable C. The correct answer is B D. Are you serious? E. THE ANSWER IS B You’re one smart cookie! Meet your new dog, Pluto. The brilliant minds at Nasa might say that he’s a dwarf planet, but the real experts (us, of course) know that there’s nothing small about Pluto. Make no mistake, this handsome dude is larger than life and the king of his galaxy. He is charming, loyal, curious, a little bit silly, and will make the best adventure buddy—you can usually find him playing in water (any source will do), showing his toys who’s boss, or trying his hardest to outrun the wind. Pluto is ready for a fur-sibling who won’t be bothered by his love of attention and isn’t afraid to lay down the law every now and then, but he’d also be perfectly content as your only BFF. At the end of the day, all he really needs to be happy is a spot on the couch next to his favorite humans. Pluto is a three (almost four!) month old boxer mix. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, has been dewormed, and will come with a neuter voucher that covers the cost of the procedure. Plus, he already told us he loves you to the moon and back.

Story
Welcome to Astronomy 101! Class is now in session. POP QUIZ: 1. According to the leading experts in astrophysics, which of the following is the MOST accurate definition of a nova: A. The strong and sudden increase in brightness of a white dwarf star B. Inspiration for the smash hit “Supernova Girl” from the Disney Channel Original Movie, ZENON: Girl of the 21st Century C. The most adorable, affectionate, and adoptable dog on planet Earth D. All of the above We will accept both C and D as correct answers. If you’re confused, refer to the following excerpt from p. 149 to learn more. “Of all the stars in the sky, this Nova shines the brightest. She is a one(ish)-year-old boxer mix with a ginormous heart and a personality as goofy as those ears; yes, one ear really does stand up straight at all times and yes, we agree that it’s perfect. At 50% zoomies and 50% couch potato, Nova will definitely help you reach your daily step count—but like, let’s not get crazy. Unless there’s a water hose involved. Then let’s DEFINITELY get crazy. Most importantly, Nova is as sweet as they come and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She is dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and oh so patiently waiting for her forever spot in the world. Nothing would make her happier than the chance to join your family. Nova is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and cleared for launch—all systems are go.”

Story
Sassy is pure bred. I tested her using the dog dna company. She was given as a Mother’s Day present at a few weeks old but then her daughter wanted to keep since mom didn’t want her. Neither can care for Sassy anymore unfortunately due to human health reasons. Sassy is 5yrs old. Very energetic, loves cuddles, very protective of family, has anxiety to noises, does not like being snuck up on, very playful (plays a little too rough), house trained so well that she will hold it til you get back home, has gone to beginners training. Know quite a few commands that came with training and some of our own. To answer the question if she good with dogs, yes to an extent. Training classes, groomers, and vet she’s does great with ignoring other dogs, but outside she will also continue to ignore unless the other dog continues to bark at her then she’ll start barking back. Loves dog parks, keep separate from other dogs because they always run up to her with barking causing her anxiety. Free rehome.

Loki is a sweet, active boy who loves his toys. He is housebroken, and he is a great cuddler! Loki enjoys playing outside, chasing balls, and showing off his tricks. He is crate trained and enjoys spending time in his crate and on his soft bed. He will be much happier in a home where he is the only pet. He is very sweet and gentle with people, but he does not do well with other dogs or with cats. He will come with all his toys, bed, crate, several leashes and collars, brush, and anything else we have for him.

Story
Buddy is looking for a new home to share all of his love! He's 1 year old, about 65 lbs, goofy, full of love and cuddles. He's housebroken, likes car rides and enjoys going for walks. He is great with kids and is a complete cuddle bug. His current family loves him dearly and is sad to have to let him go. There is another male dog in the household that has been aggressive towards him. He would do great with female dogs! Male dogs might be an adjustment after issues with the other male dog in the home.
