He knows many basic commands and comes from a good home, who unfortunately, can no longer care for him due to medical issues. He has lived with a dog before, his sister Molly, so he might get along with yours! We could always give it a shot. He loves all people but we are unsure about cats and livestock, but we could always do a test for you. Before considering adopting me, please make sure you have the proper, time, space and resources to care for me for the rest of my life.

At 8 years old, he’s got life figured out—except for why squirrels won’t be his friends. Why He’s Awesome: Knows important commands like “sit” and “go lie down” (though he sometimes pretends not to hear after “no more treats”). Crate trained—his “man cave” is his happy place. Leash trained, but if another dog walks by… let’s just say he gets very enthusiastic about making new friends. Neutered and fully vaccinated—basically, a low-maintenance best friend. He’s sweet, playful, and great with people of all ages. If you’re looking for a dog that’s past the puppy chaos but still ready for adventures (or couch naps), Gunner is your guy!  We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest & East Coast allowing us to post in specific cities.
