He knows many basic commands and comes from a good home, who unfortunately, can no longer care for him due to medical issues. He has lived with a dog before, his sister Molly, so he might get along with yours! We could always give it a shot. At 8 years old, he’s got life figured out—except for why squirrels won’t be his friends. Why He’s Awesome: Knows important commands like “sit” and “go lie down” (though he sometimes pretends not to hear after “no more treats”). Crate trained—his “man cave” is his happy place. Leash trained, but if another dog walks by… let’s just say he gets very enthusiastic about making new friends. Neutered and fully vaccinated—basically, a low-maintenance best friend. He’s sweet, playful, and great with people of all ages. If you’re looking for a dog that’s past the puppy chaos but still ready for adventures (or couch naps), Gunner is your guy!  We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest & East Coast allowing us to post in specific cities. When Krampus first arrived as a stray, he lived up to his name: a little grumpy, very scared, and not quite sure humans were his thing. Fast-forward to now and he has revealed his true identity… a total lovebug in disguise. Krampus is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet once he knows you. He can be a bit shy at first, but offer some gentle words, ear scratches, and a good belly rub, and you’ll quickly have a loyal shadow. He came to us dirty, underweight, and scratched up, but with care (and lots of snacks), he’s healed beautifully and continues to gain confidence every day. He has a soft spot for women, does well with most men, and is picking up basic commands and leash training like a champ. We’re still learning how he feels about other dogs, cats, and kids—but we’re happy to help test and find the best match for him. Krampus may have started out as a grump, but he’s turned into a gentle, trusting sweetheart who’s ready for a cozy home and a forever family.
