I always go potty outside and I love to be with my people. Although I was the only pet in the home, my friends here think I could get along with another dog. It is unknown how I would do with cats. I have lots of love and am ready to give it all to you! Even though I am house trained and do well while alone, I would really love an owner who is with me most of the day. Before considering adding me to your life, please make sure you have the appropriate amount of time, space, and resources available to care for me for my lifetime. I am very excited about finding my new forever family!

I am a sweet guy who is reserved when you first meet me. My friends here at CAC have noticed that I am hearing impaired, and they are now working on hand signals with me. I am a bit unsure of new dogs, with proper introduction I do well with dogs my size and energy. I haven't met and small children or cats yet so I don't know if I like them? My dream is to have a yard and a family to share my heart with! Please be sure you have the right amount of time space and resources if you are considering taking me home.

My name is Baxter, I sometimes need some time to get to know new people. Once I know you, we'll be best friends! I am a sweet affectionate boy who loves to play and cuddle with my humans. I'm loyal and can learn tricks if you teach me. I do well with other dogs, especially the ladies. I would love a yard to run around in and humans who would like to play with me. I am scared of little people so an adult home is ideal. l can be good with cats who respect my space. Please be sure that you have the right amount of time space and recourses to care for me for the rest of my life. Please come visit me at Companions Animal Center and give me the opportunity to win your heart and be your forever buddy.

Hi my name is Bruno and I came to Companions Animal Center through my local animal control. My history is a mystery and we don't know how I will do with young kids or cats. I am a strong energetic boy who might do well on runs and hikes. I am very strong and will need a strong walker. I am eager to learn how to walk well on a leash and any tricks you would like to show me how to do. Please be sure you have the appropriate amount of time, space, and resources available to care for me for my lifetime. I am very excited about finding my new forever family!

Adoptions by appointment only. Visit www.companionsanimalcenter.org ADOPT to view our adoption process.Hi my name is Vice! I came to CAC as an owner surrender because I like porcupines a little to much. I am a sweet active boy, but I do take a little time to warm up to new people. I have gotten a lot better since my friends here have been working with me. I do well with other dogs my size, but I can not go home with any small animals. Once we get to know each other better I require scratches, pets, and adventure! I can't wait to find my furrever family! Please be sure you have enough time space and resources to care for me for the rest of my life.

Story
Bandit's adventure spirit brings joy to everyone in his life. Though dealt a bad deck of cards previously, this awesome dog is living his best life.  The injury is unknown, and we were never able to get any real information, so we just concentrate on his care.  Our doctors all agree he is not in pain. We just keep him comfortable and enjoying life.   Bandit likes playing with the other dogs, he is super fast on his wheels and loves to go on runs thru the woods. He is a champion cuddler.   He will come with his chair and ski mods, and we can do some training if you are wanting to adopt this special guy, but are not sure about the aids and how they help with the day to day.  He doesn't need his chair all the time. He spends most of the time out of it, actually.  He has some use of his legs, and gets around the yard quite well.  Check out his videos! Here is what his foster mom has to say:  Sweet and pretty chill. Lots of naps and doesn’t like getting off the couch in the mornings lol he gets zoomies like other dogs just a little wobbly lol. Loves car rides and his daily walks. Gets along with other dogs. Haven’t seen him with cats but will chase deer…until a snow bank stops him   The adoption fee is $175 and Bandit has all his vaccinations, microchip, neuter and more. ##940630##

Story
Kenny is about 2 years old. He gets along with cats and will get along with a dog once he is familiar with the dog. He is medium energy and likes to go for walks, spend time outside, and go swimming. He would do best in a home where he is given plenty of attention. He is house trained and is usually at home alone for 8-10 hours a day during work hours in which he spends most of his time sleeping and watching Tv.

Story
Bean is 5 year old mix. We had his sister from the litter before him since before he was born and she died of a seizure almost a year ago and he has been struggling ever since. He had lost weight due to not wanting to eat and he has used the bathroom in the house quite a bit more. Bean is the sweetest goofiest loving dog you’ll ever meet but I we work so much and cannot help him get over these issues and I’m scared his poor eating will make him loose more weight and I cannot be home to follow a schedule to help him gain weight back. He needs a loving home that has the time to offer him to flourish!

Story
Mama Turkey (mother to the Feastletts) is a lovely American Pit Bull Terrier Siberian Husky mix. She is 55lbs and has an estimated birthday of 11/23/2019.  Turkey has now recovered from raising 9 puppies and 2 surrogates. She was an excellent mother and was sociable and reasonable with all the dogs and people who interacted with and helped raise and socialize her babies.  Turkey is leash trained, crate trained, house trained, and off leash reliable when no distractions are present. She hikes fine on a long line. She has successfully competed in a straight racing trial and won a shamrock stuffy for coming in last in her class, but we are exceedingly proud that she got out there, wore her muzzle and racing blanket and heavily competed with the other mixed breed dogs. She knows sit, place, and wait, and she loves riding in the car. She's very social with other dogs and all people she has met. She's a supreme dog, and the kind of companion people are hoping for when they choose to adopt a rescue dog.  Turkey does have mild vocal separation anxiety and rips up the blankets in her kennel but she's steadily improving when being contained. She will need a sturdy kennel for being contained when home alone so she doesn't make destructive choices. A plastic airline kennel would be sufficient. She is also quite reliable unattended at home with another stable dog.  Turkey eats Kirkland Signature Nature's Domain Salmon and Sweet Potato dog food from Costco and takes a tablet of apoquel by mouth once daily to manage allergies.  Turkey has a ton of potential and she could be as active or relaxed as a future family preferred, although she will still require daily exercise and mental stimulation. She would make an ideal match for an entry level sport home or active family pet.  Turkey comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $200 and includes a leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, and medical records. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and send in an application.  Thank you for checking out Turkey!  ##1881051##
