Story
Meet Odin — At just 7 months old, Odin is a Boxer mix who perfectly embodies everything people love about the breed—playful, affectionate, and full of life. He’s fully vetted, neutered, and more than ready to find a forever home where he can share all the love he has to give. Odin absolutely adores his people and thrives on attention. Whether he’s curled up next to you for a cuddle session or following you around the house, he just wants to be part of your world. His loyalty runs deep, and he’ll happily be your shadow wherever you go. True to his playful nature, Odin loves spending time with other dogs and enjoys all kinds of toys. From chasing a ball to a good game of tug-of-war, his enthusiasm is contagious and guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. He’s also doing great with his house training and has wonderful manners for such a young pup. Odin is the kind of dog who brings energy, laughter, and warmth into every moment. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will keep life fun while also being your snuggle buddy at the end of the day, Odin is your guy. Occasionally, we may not have had a puppy long enough for a second round. Puppies under 6 months of age are not spayed or neutered. Spaying or neutering is a required condition of adoption and must be completed by the puppy’s first birthday or by your veterinarian's recommendation, at the adopter’s expense. Out-of-state surgery costs are not included in the adoption fee. Breed Disclaimer: Breed is our best estimate based on the puppy’s appearance and, when known, the mother’s appearance. Fathers are rarely known, and litters can have multiple fathers, meaning puppies may be half-siblings with different breed mixes. ⸻

Story
Meet Alf! This 9-month-old Boxer mix is named after the lovable TV alien, but these days he’s much less “lost in space” and much more “life of the party.” Currently weighing around 46 pounds, Alf is growing into a happy, confident, and incredibly lovable companion. When Alf first arrived at a local animal shelter, the world felt overwhelming and he wasn’t quite sure how to navigate it. Fast forward to foster life, and this boy has blossomed in the best way. With patience, love, and a cozy home to learn in, Alf has discovered that life is actually pretty great, and he’s embracing it with full-body tail wags and a joyful spirit. Alf is almost fully house trained and does well in his crate, settling in nicely after a brief protest. He sleeps comfortably crated in another room and has proven to be a great mix of playful and relaxed. He enjoys everything from zooming around the yard and playing with toys to lounging in the house and soaking up attention from his people. This social butterfly truly doesn’t know a stranger. Alf is friendly with men, women, children, and dogs of all sizes, and he’s even good with cats. He’s been around kids as young as 3 years old and does wonderfully, though like many young pups, he can get a little excited and is still working on keeping all four paws on the floor when saying hello. Alf loves playing with his dog friends, whether it’s a game of chase or a snuggle break after. He’s respectful of dogs who prefer a calmer vibe and adjusts his play style accordingly. He also enjoys walks and does well on leash, though he may pause mid-walk in hopes of making a new friend because in Alf’s world, everyone is a potential best buddy. At the end of the day, Alf is the definition of a “happy dog.” He’ll greet you with his whole body wagging, follow you around like your biggest fan, and happily curl up on the couch for some quality cuddle time. Alf would do well in just about any home ready for a fun, affectionate, and social young dog. He’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and a whole lot of love to his forever family. His adoption fee is $250 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Leon is the kind of dog who fits beautifully into whatever your day looks like. Want a walking buddy? He’s all in. Planning a cozy movie night? He’ll happily curl up nearby, just content to be part of the moment. His personality is a lovable mix of gentle, cuddly calm and goofy, playful energy that will keep you smiling. This handsome boy is eager to please and already making great progress with his manners—he’s currently mastering “sit” like a champ. Leon especially loves teething toys and looks forward to his nightly walks, where he can stretch his legs and explore the world by your side. Leon forms strong bonds with his people and has shown a special attachment to his foster, but he’s friendly and polite with everyone he meets. He also does wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys the company of his foster’s small resident pup. Even around a young toddler, Leon has proven to be gentle and well-behaved. He’s still getting used to things like putting on a collar and leash, but with a little patience and encouragement, he’s continuing to grow more confident every day. Leon would thrive in an active home—whether that’s a family or an individual or couple—who can give him a mix of exercise, companionship, and love. In return, you’ll get a loyal, sweet-natured dog who just wants to be part of your life. If you’re looking for a dog who can be both your adventure buddy and your cuddle companion, Leon Kennedy might just be your perfect match

Story
Meet Major—a one-year-old Boxer mix with a heart as big as his wiggly enthusiasm. This handsome guy is all about people; wherever you are, that’s exactly where he wants to be. Major is a certified leaner, happily pressing into you for affection, and if you discover his sweet spot (butt scratches, please!), you’ll have a best friend for life. Major isn’t just lovable—he’s smart, too. He already knows “sit,” “down,” and “shake,” and he’s eager to show off his skills. When treats come out, he locks in with impressive focus, but even without them, he knows his name and is ready to listen. With his curiosity and willingness to learn, Major would thrive with someone excited to continue his training and help him reach his full potential. Adventure? Count him in. Major is always ready to go, hopping into the car with joy, prepared for whatever the day brings—whether it’s a hike, a park visit, or just a ride to grab a pup cup. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate, and trainable companion who will stick by your side (and lean into you for love), Major is your guy.
