We're thrilled to announce our awesome "Go Big and Go Home" adoption special! We have a bunch of incredible dogs who weigh over 50 pounds that are eagerly waiting to find their forever homes. And guess what? Starting now until the end of February, you can take one of these amazing companions home for just $99! How amazing is that? Don't let this fantastic opportunity pass you by to bring home a furry friend with a big heart. Bellatrix is a cuddly young pup who cannot wait to climb into your lap and show you all the love in the world. He is the perfect balance of sleep and play, and can be found snoring away on the couch shortly after a game of fetch. Bellatrix is also potty and crate trained and cannot wait to show you how good of a boy he can be! Because of his gentle nature, he is good with everyone he meets and will happily accept pets from whoever happens to walk by. If you're looking for a smart and loyal companion, Trix is your boy! All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. Story
My name is Binx. I am a 15 week old energetic puppy who loves to play and have fun. I have 2 great dane foster siblings and I play with them all the time. I have also interacted with other dogs and puppies and have behaved really well. I am a huge fan of squeaky toys, the more the better. My foster mom and dad call me a “goat” because I love to jump around like a baby goat. Par-core! I am really good at going outside to potty. I love being outside. Right now I have a fenced in back yard and I love to run around with my foster siblings. Don’t just judge me by my good looks, I am also really smart. I am very treat motivated and willing to learn all kinds of tricks with someone who is willing to invest the time. I do well with children also. I appear to be a boxer/husky mix and should be 50-60 pounds once grown (I am 29 pounds now). I'm looking for a forever home where i get alot of attention, love, and exercise. Binx's $300 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip registration. You can apply at  https://gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##1979870##

Story
Bella is a 3-year-old, spayed female Boxer mix available for adoption at CCHS. Bella came to us when her previous owner was no longer able to care to her due to illness in the family. Bella is here with us now, and waiting as patiently as she can for a new forever home! Bella is a very sweet girl who is always happy and wiggly when she gets to be with friends. Her previous owners described her as protective of them and very family-oriented. She would love to be the only dog in her new home, as other dogs can make her nervous sometimes. Come look into Bella's beautiful, soulful eyes and fill out an application for this great girl at CCHS!

Story
Meet Millie, a 2-year-old Pit Bull Mix, gracing the world with her presence at a weight of 44.8 pounds. Her journey hasn't been easy; she came into our lives through a stroke of fate, found abandoned in a park one summer, emaciated and neglected. Due to her challenging past, Millie requires a kid-free home, where she can gradually build trust and feel secure. In the loving embrace of her foster family, Millie has truly transformed. She's become an exuberant, playful, and affectionate companion who enjoys the simple pleasures of life. Whether it's embarking on leisurely strolls, indulging in a game of fetch in the backyard, or sharing a quiet moment on your lap, Millie is a dog who knows how to savor every moment. Not only is Millie house and crate-trained, but she also coexists harmoniously with feline friends. However, it's essential to note that Millie thrives as the sole dog in the household, as she tends to resource-guard her food and toys. To provide Millie with the ideal forever home, we're seeking a patient and nurturing owner who can offer plenty of activities to engage her both physically and mentally. Millie's foster mom has mentioned that she may vocalize when her active needs aren't met, a friendly reminder that this spirited pup is happiest when she's well-exercised. Once Millie establishes that special bond with someone, she becomes a beacon of happiness and loyalty. Thanks to our generous sponsors, her adoption fee has already been covered for an approved adopter. Please note there is a $15 rabies registration fee for McLean County residents.  Millie is waiting for a loving home where her heart can continue to bloom. If you think you could be that special person, apply today to meet her and start a beautiful chapter together. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Meet Milo! He's a 10-month-old Pit Bull Terrier who currently weighs 53 pounds. This playful sweetie would love a home with a canine playmate, yet it's not required. Although Milo grew up with young children, he might do best with children age 5+ because he's blessed with the typical big puppy high energy level. He's house- and crate-trained. You'll quickly discover that Milo is a well-rounded boy. His hobbies include: * Running around in the house * Spending time in the yard * Going on long walks * Engaging in high-energy exercise * Playing with toys * Playing with other dogs   Milo follows his foster dad from room to room. His previous family didn't have enough time for him, so he didn't get much interaction. It might take Milo a minute to warm up to new people and situations. He just wants to be loved. Can you give Milo the exercise and love that he needs? If so, he'd love to meet you! His minimum adoption fee is $145 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.  He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Introducing Fada, the loving 10-month-old pittie with a heart of gold and a zest for life! Still sporting her puppy charm, Fada is a 34.9 pound bundle of energy just waiting to bring joy and laughter into your home. One thing's for sure – she's head over heels for her fellow canine companions. While she's learning the ropes of polite play, Fada's enthusiasm sometimes leads to roughhousing, so she'll need a four-legged friend who can keep up with her spirited antics. In the realm of housetraining, Fada is making strides and nearly has it mastered. Though she'll tolerate her crate, nothing beats the company of her beloved people or her furry pals. With energy to spare, Fada thrives on playtime both indoors and out. Whether she's tearing around the yard with her canine buddies, embarking on long walks, or playing a game of fetch, she's in her element. Described as friendly, outgoing, and adaptable, Fada is a social butterfly who's never met a stranger she didn't like. While she's charmed everyone she's crossed paths with, her exuberance suggests she'd be best suited for a household with older children who can match her energy levels and playstyle. Given her penchant for yard zoomies, Fada would thrive in a home with a secure fence where she can stretch her legs to her heart's content. As for her feline friends, well, let's just say they're not on her list of favorites. When it comes to kids, they would need to be able to hold their own and we think her energy would do best with kids ages 10 and up. If you're searching for a furry companion to join you on all of life's adventures, look no further than Fada. With her infectious happiness and playful spirit, she's sure to become the heart and soul of your family. Come meet Fada today and discover why she's the perfect match for your active lifestyle! Her minimum adoption fee is $145 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
