Story
Meet Alf! This 7-month-old Boxer mix is named after the lovable TV alien, and much like his namesake, he’s figuring out life on a brand-new planet one brave step at a time. He currently weighs 33.5 pounds and is still growing into himself. When Alf first arrived at a local animal shelter, the world felt overwhelming. He pancaked to the floor, unsure of what to expect and how to navigate all the new sights, sounds, and smells. Thanks to patient, gentle staff and a whole lot of encouragement, Alf has made huge progress and is truly coming out of his shell. New things can still feel intimidating for him, but Alf is learning that good things happen when he’s brave. Each day brings a little more confidence, a little more curiosity, and glimpses of the sweet, goofy Boxer mix he’s becoming. Alf is looking for a home that understands confidence grows at its own pace and is ready to cheer him on as he continues his glow-up into a happy, secure companion. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Lilah is a sweet, cuddly love bug who is looking for a family of her own! She is a 6 year old boxer mix, and although she’s been through some tough times, she is friendly, outgoing, and the perfect amount of sassy. She struts her 42 pound self through life with confidence and so much love to give. She does very well in her kennel and in the car, however, she prefers to spend all of her time snoring in your lap. She is potty trained and adapts to new situations well. In general, Lilah seems to enjoy spending time with other canine companions, but she does need her personal space from other dogs when relaxing or taking a snooze on the couch. She is good with children but has not been around cats. Overall, Lilah is a sweetheart with an adorably bold personality, and with you by her side, she is ready to take on the world (or maybe just the couch). Lilah's $300 adoption fee includes her spay, vaccines, heartworm/flea prevention, and microchip registration. Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##2270801##

Story
Jax is a 9 month old Boxer/Pitbull mix available at CCHS. He is a sweet and cuddly lap dog who loves run around and play. Jax is very social and jumps and kisses his favorite people as much as you'll let him. Jax is more shy with men but has warmed up quickly to many of the male staff. While he does require training classes he is very mature and well mannered for his age. Come by CCHS if you'd like to meet with Jax!

Story
Clyde is a sweet, playful Boxer pup with a whole lot of charm packed into a little body. He’s generous with his kisses, but when it’s time to relax, Clyde prefers to flop comfortably on the floor rather than curl up for cuddles. He loves to wrestle and play with his fur siblings and, just like his sister, can’t resist chomping on ice cubes whenever he gets the chance. Clyde really stands out from the pack with his striking all-black coat on top—he’s his mama’s twin through and through. Clyde is looking for a family ready to give him the time, patience, and training every puppy needs. In return, you’ll get a loyal, fun-loving companion with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. If you’re searching for a handsome boy with a sweet soul and an adventurous side, Clyde may be your perfect match. 🐾. Apply at www.fosterpetoutreach.org Our adoption fee is $350 for dogs over 5 months of age and includes all vaccinations, spay/neuter, micro chip implantation and registration/transfer, heartworm test and much more. Puppies up to 6 months of age are $400 and this includes all sets of puppy vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip implantation and registration and more. To adopt, go to www.fosterpetoutreach.org to complete an application. Please note: Foster Pet Outreach tries to limit our adoptions to an area within approximately 60 miles of Peoria, Illinois.

Story
Meet our beautiful boxer mix mama Onyx 💕 She did the hardest job first — raising her puppies in foster care — and now it’s finally her turn. This sweet girl has been devoted, gentle, and patient while her babies grew big and strong. With her mom duties behind her, she’s ready to trade midnight feedings for couch cuddles and backyard zoomies. She’s looking for a forever home where she can be someone’s baby now. A soft bed, steady love, and a family who sees her not just as “the mama,” but as the loyal, loving companion she truly is. After giving so much, she deserves a lifetime of being cherished. Ready to make her next chapter the best one yet? Apply at www.fosterpetoutreach.org

Story
Coffee Bean is a 1.5-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix weighing about 50 pounds, and her story is one of quiet resilience and a heart that never gave up on love. She didn’t have an easy beginning. Coffee Bean spent nearly two months wandering as a stray, too frightened to let anyone help her. When she was finally caught, rescuers discovered a collar painfully embedded in her neck and learned she was pregnant. Despite everything she had endured, it didn’t take long for her gentle spirit to surface. Once she realized people could be kind, she decided being close to them was the very best thing in the world. In foster care, Coffee Bean became a mama, welcoming 10 beautiful puppies into the world, five boys and five girls, her little “coffees.” Now that her job is done, it’s her turn to be cared for. Coffee Bean is a total sweetheart who thrives on companionship. She loves her people with her whole heart and absolutely adores other dogs. Her canine foster siblings are her best friends, and she would happily play all day if given the chance. She’s doing very well with house-training on a consistent schedule and truly just wants to belong. Because Coffee Bean never got to be a puppy, the world is still brand new to her. She’s learning her manners and will need a patient family to help her along. She’s still figuring out leash walking and often jumps up when she’s excited to see her people. With gentle guidance, consistency, and love, she’s going to blossom into an amazing companion. Coffee Bean is ready to trade her past for a future filled with safety, kindness, and a couch to curl up on. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving girl who will adore you endlessly and grow alongside you, Coffee Bean is ready to pour her whole heart into her forever home. Her minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
