He’s sweet, gangly, and full of that “did I just trip over my own feet?” kind of charm. He’s expected to be a medium-ish sized dog when fully grown — perfectly sized for adventures and couch cuddles.✨ Dobby’s special powers include:• Turning regular toys into magical treasure• Casting “Zoomius Maximus” during playtime• Making messes disappear (by redistributing them around the room)He’s playful, a little ornery in the cutest way, and loves to roughhouse and wrestle with toys. When he first arrived, he was completely shut down — frozen in fear, unable to move, unsure how to exist in a safe place. But just like the character he was named after, he’s slowly, bravely finding his footing.We were told he is a mix of apple-headed Chihuahua and Boxer, and his beautiful red coat makes him just as striking on the outside as he is tender on the inside.Yukon doesn’t rush. He doesn’t demand. He gently reveals who he is when he feels safe. For the people he trusts, he becomes playful, silly, and surprisingly goofy. Watching him come out of his shell has been one of the quiet joys of our shelter.Yukon Cornelius needs a patient, kind-hearted home — someone who understands that healing isn’t instant and love is built slowly. Chloe is a sweet girl who previously lived with many other dogs and is tolerant of them, but may be a bit selective about the dogs she gets along with. She likes her safe spaces, and may do best in a patient home who can let her acclimate slowly to new environments. Come meet this sweetie at CCHS!

Jax is very social and jumps and kisses his favorite people as much as you'll let him. Jax is more shy with men but has warmed up quickly to many of the male staff.
