Story
Momo!      DOB: 2/2018       Weight: 70 lbs   MoMo is a very handsome Boxer mix! He is great with people and kids. Always super excited to see you and turns into a crazy wiggle butt. However, Momo prefers to be the only child. Doesn’t care much for cats or other dogs. Walks around them fine, but will pick a fight if they get too close. He loves to ride in the car and has a medium energy level. Likes to get out for walks and sniff around. Knows how to sit and will take handouts nicely. No resource guarding issues. He’s very sweet. Could use a good food schedule and some more exercise. Momo has lived in a house for the past two years and is used to the house life. He is house and crate trained of course.  His adoption fee is $175. That helps us to cover worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip. We offer a 2-3 week trial. If for some reason it does not work out, you’ll be refunded $100 of your fee. If interested in adopting him please fill out an application on our NEW website. https://www.newliferescues.org . If you have issues, send us a message through our Facebook. Came to the shelter in 2/2020 and was adopted for awhile. Story
Hey there, awesome folks! The name's Porter, and I'm here to bring some excitement and love into your life. Let me tell you a bit about myself and why I'm the perfect furry friend for you! First things first, I'm a lively Boxer Pit mix, just a sprightly 8 months old, bursting with energy and enthusiasm for life. Yep, you read that right-I'm all about living life to the fullest and having a blast with my favorite humans! Now, about my previous home-well, my last owner surrendered me due to health reasons, but hey, it's all good! It just means I'm on the lookout for a new family who's ready to embrace my playful spirit and shower me with love and cuddles. Here's the scoop-I'm a real social butterfly, especially when it comes to other dogs. Whether it's romping around in playgroups or simply enjoying the company of furry pals, I thrive on companionship. Oh, and speaking of companionship, I've even lived with cats before! Yep, I'm a versatile guy who gets along with everyone. When it comes to children they can be a little outside my comfort zone. My last home had grandchildren that I got on well with, but I didn't do so well with a child who was visiting. I would need to meet any little ones in the home before going to live with them. A calm and slow introduction should help me warm up to them. When it comes to walks, I've got a medium amount of energy, and I'll admit, I might pull a bit at first out of sheer excitement. But hey, once I settle into the groove, I'm a breeze to walk and will happily trot alongside you, taking in all the sights and smells. And with a little bit of training I can get over that eager pulling behavior. And guess what? I'm a quick learner! Yep, I can sit like a champ, and with a little positive reinforcement and some tasty treats, I'm sure I can master even more commands to impress you. Oh, and did I mention I'm a total sweetheart? Yep, I love nothing more than giving kisses and snuggling up with my favorite humans and furry friends. So, what do you say? Ready to welcome a bundle of love and joy into your home? I promise to fill your days with laughter, love, and plenty of tail wags. Let's make some unforgettable memories together!

Story
Remy!     DOB: 9/2020    Weight: 40lbs  Over a year later and Remi is still on the market! She’s a small and very muscular looking pittie mix. She is completely house trained and does decent in the crate so long as she’s not in there too crazy long. She does fantastic with cats and has lived in a home fine with a small dog. Needs to meet any potential larger dogs in the home. Kids 14+ or ones that can respect her space are needed in the home. She previously lived with kids and was surrendered after the one (10yr) wouldn’t stay out of her face while she was sleeping and she nipped at him. She tried to tell him she didn’t like it but he didn’t listen to the cues. In a good home setting, Remi is a very friendly girl and loves to be with her people. No food or toy aggression issues. She likes to sleep in bed with her humans and is crazy about her chew toys. Toys are her life but, but she needs indestructible ones as she can chew through just about any toy. Remi likes having a doggie companion to play with, but should meet any potential ones.  She knows how to sit and takes nicely, very food motivated. Always down for an adventure outside but she’ll let you know when she’s tired. Enjoys car rides and does fairly well for baths. Her flaws include some anxiety that leads her to get worked up at certain things. She will try to bolt out of any door that is open and needs to learn to wait. When out on walks she does wonderful until she sees other dogs then she barks and carries on, throws herself around. Needs to be corrected before it starts, something to work at.  Her adoption fee is $175. That helps us to cover worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip. We offer a 2-3 week trial. If for some reason it does not work out, you’ll be refunded $100 of your fee. Story
Nova!       DOB: 3/2019     Weight: 53lbs   Nova is a VERY sweet pit mix. A major cuddler and a professional butt wiggler. Loves scratches and belly rubs. Enjoys sunbathing when it’s nice out. Rolling in the grass is a must for her everytime she goes out lol. She does well for baths and car rides. Good with most other dogs, will even play in the yard with them. She does have a prey drive for smaller animals, so no cats or itty bitty dogs. Great with people and kids! She knows how to sit and will take treats nicely. Not much food or toy aggression. Nova is a quiet dog with us, but she’ll attract attention with her weird little gremlin howls when out in public. She practically throws herself onto people for attention, so if you’re sitting on the ground be aware. She had it rough before coming to us. A puppy maker for someone until they didn’t need her, then passed to multiple different homes. She has been in foster with us for awhile now where we know that she’s house and crate trained. She does need apoquel meds for her allergies. Roughly $100 a month at the vet she’s currently with.  Her adoption fee is $175. That helps us to cover worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip. We offer a 2-3 week trial. If for some reason it does not work out, you’ll be refunded $100 of your fee. If interested in adopting her please fill out an application on our NEW website. https://www.newliferescues.org .
