Say hello to Dash! This dashing guy is an 11 month old Boxer mix who is back with us for the 2nd time now. Dash is very energetic, but sweet as can be and deeply loves the people around him. He has done well with us meeting dogs, and loves to play with toys! Dash could use some help with housetraining, and leash training and some basic obedience. We are offering 3 free training sessions with Janette from Kind K9s to help get you started! Please come by and meet this sweet boy! He would love to be in a home and we would love to meet you! Story
Cassidy is a gentle, soft-hearted girl who is still learning that the world is a safe place. With her beautiful melting shades of brown on her head, white chest and toes, and a sweet white-tipped tail, she has a quiet beauty that matches her tender personality. Right now, Cassidy is a bit reserved and shy, but her affectionate and friendly nature shines through in small, meaningful ways once she feels safe. She already knows “sit” and “down,” takes treats nicely, and enjoys gentle affection like ear and butt scratches. Cassidy gets along well with other dogs and keeps her kennel clean, showing that she has good manners and a thoughtful nature even while she’s still adjusting. Toys don’t seem to be her thing just yet, and she can be scared in new situations, so she will need time, patience, and a calm environment to truly blossom. Cassidy would do best in a home that can offer daily exercise, structure, and a steady routine while she builds confidence at her own pace. She is also a great candidate for a first-time owner who understands that shy dogs often need a little extra time and reassurance before their true personality shines through. With her sweet expression, soft speckled coat, and adorable head tilts when she’s curious, Cassidy is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart once she learns she is safe. Given time and patience, she is sure to grow into a loving and devoted companion.

Story
Pickles is a 3-year-old Beagle/Boxer mix with a truly one-of-a-kind look — and a heart to match. Her soft, soulful eyes and gentle spirit tell the story of a girl who hasn’t had the easiest start, but who’s ready to soak up all the love she’s missed out on. Pickles is the definition of a velcro dog — she always wants to be close to her people, whether that means curling up beside you on the couch or climbing right into your lap for snuggles. When she gets excited, she breaks into the cutest little tippy-taps with her paws that are guaranteed to melt your heart. Pickles is lover of playtime and can sometimes play a little rough with people she trusts, but we think with a little training she'll be able to regulate that in no time. She’s friendly and social with every dog she meets and has a sweet, submissive play style that makes her a great companion for canine friends. Pickles is also wonderful with kids, but her prey drive kicks in a little too much when she's around cats, so she'd do best in a home without them. This smart girl is potty-trained, crate-trained, and knows her basic manners. She responds to her name and walks well on a leash. Pickles is both food- and praise-motivated, making her eager to please and a joy to train. Pickles would thrive in just about any loving home — whether it’s with another dog or as the center of attention — as long as she has her own people to love and stay close to. She’s a sweetheart through and through, just happy to be alive and ready to share that happiness with you. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who’ll stick by your side through thick and thin, Pickles is your girl.
