Meet Lucy! She is around 4 years old and is a Coonhound/Boxer mix. She was recently returned as her owners could no longer care for her. She would do best as an only dog in the home and NO CATS for her! She has a very high prey drive and thinks rabbits and little creatures are fun to go after, She is said to be good with kids. She is a very active girl and loves running around and going for walks(she does need some leash manners) She is spayed, current on vaccines, negative for heartworm, and microchipped.

Hi my name is Parker and I am around 5 years old and I came to Almost Home when my previous owner sadly left me in the dog park in the middle of the night. I was sooo scared when I came in, but now I am very happy and social. I was adopted out for a year and then returned because my owner no longer had enough time for me and I didn't always love being alone. I would do great in a home with someone who is home a lot. I did live with 2 cats in my previous home and did great with them. I would do best as an only dog in the home. I love to play with toys and love to explore our play room here at the shelter. I am very treat and food motivated and do know a few commands like sit and shake.

Meet Tara! She is around 2 years old and is a Bully mix with the cutest ears. She came to us from the pound after she was dumped in the country with 2 other dogs. She can be a little shy at first when you first meet her, but it doesn’t take her long to warm up. She is easily bribed with some treats. She has been good with other dogs, but we are not sure at this time how she is with cats and kids. She is current on vaccines, negative for heartworm, and microchipped
