She is puppy like in personality and gets along very well with humans, other animals too but is kind of scared of them. My sister had her for years and we have loved for that time but my sister passed away and we have 3 elderly small dogs we just can't keep up. She deserves a good person that can provide a good friendship with her. Good with a leash and good without. Likes walks and sitting around too. She looks to your eyes to understand what you are wanting. Great dog for someone with decent yard

Story
A newly discovered allergy means we need to find her a new loving home asap or she will have to go to a shelter. Toffee is a very sweet girl. She knows sit, come, paw (shake), outside, and down (as in off furniture). Her birthday is Oct 7th, 2025 so she is almost a year old. She loves peanut butter and/or bacon treats. She is independent but will like to sit next to you or at your feet and get lots of pets. She is good at walks and doesn't pull on the leash. She doesn't mind car rides. As a young dog she can get excitable at the beginning of a walk but just let her sniff for a second and she settles down. She is great with kids even if our toddler hugs her too much, Toffee just excepts the love. Toffee is spayed and totally up to date on her shots, heartworm med, and flea tick treatment. She will come with two beds, blankets, harness leash, toys, food/water bowls, large food storage container, and whatever food and treats we still have along with several months of heartworm medication.

Story
Four-year-old Mary Pawpins is not your typical pup. She has a plethora of medical issues (described below), but she doesn’t let them stop her from being her best self! We think she is the sweetest pup you’ll ever meet. Most of the time, you can find her snuggled up in a cozy blanket snoring away. She does have an energetic side to her, but she knows her limits. She is currently in a foster home with another dog and two cats, whom she has been getting along with well. She is new to living with cats, but so far has been very gentle with them. She loves a good cozy bed/blanket in her crate- just keep anything else out of paw’s reach… because if she can grab it, she might decide it belongs in there with her. Mary has a cleft lip and palate, a congenital heart condition called pulmonic stenosis and allergies. She has been living with the cleft lip and palate (the latter being more concerning) all her life and the location is such that she does not seem to have any of the complications often associated with a cleft palate. We had her examined by a board certified dentist as well as a cardiologist, and given the severity of her heart abnormality and how well she has done, we all decided it was in her best interest to not put her through a cleft palate correction surgery. We now have her on heart medication, a special diet and medication for her allergies and she is ready to find her forever home! Mary is a sweet, easygoing girl looking for a loving home where she can relax, snuggle, and be her happiest self. All dogs go to their new homes spayed/neutered, microchipped and current on preventatives and age-appropriate vaccinations. We live in the country. Nelly walked up to the house and acted like I was her long lost human. She's the sweetest dog I have ever known. She is very well behaved, not aggressive towards people other dogs or food. She walks on a lead, requires moderate exercise, and is perfectly happy to sit down and watch TV. Great temperament. She's a perfect, live in the house, addition to the family. She has been at the vet for two weeks getting shots and being spayed. Everyone there loves her.
