Jett is an incredibly loving, loyal dog who has never met a stranger. He absolutely loves people, thrives on attention, enjoys bath time, and quickly becomes everyone’s best friend. He has been a wonderful companion and is happiest when he is the center of someone’s world. The difficult decision to rehome Jett. lt has nothing to do with his love for people. Unfortunately, he has become aggressive with our older dogs, has already shown unpredictable aggression toward our new puppy, and has also been aggressive toward our outdoor cat. As we plan to add another hunting puppy to our family in the future, we know it would not be fair or safe for Jet. Jett truly is a dream pet and would make an amazing companion in a home where he can be the only pet. He deserves a family that can give him all the love and attention he craves, and we know he will return that love tenfold.

Hello, my name is Rusty, and Im a 3-year-old Boxer mix looking for a forever family to call my own.<br/>Before we get started, I know what youre thinking about my picture. I might look a little intimidating, but I promise theres a perfectly good explanation! When I was found, I had a condition called cherry eye that made me look a bit unusual. The good news is that the vet has already fixed me right up, and now Im feeling so much better. Underneath it all, Ive always been a sweet, gentle guy.<br/>I can be a little timid when meeting new people. The world hasnt always made sense to me, and Im still learning that people are friends. Because of that, I may need a little time and patience when we first meet. But if you give me the chance, youll discover that Im one of the sweetest dogs around. Once I start to feel safe and comfortable, my loving personality really shines through.<br/>Im hoping to find a family that will help me continue building my confidence and show me just how wonderful life can be.
