Meet Jamie! Jamie is a sturdy Staffordshire Bull Terrier with the sweetest personality and a calm, easygoing nature. She has a relaxed, cozy vibe most of the time, but when she gets excited, she shows off her adorable “turbo turn,” a little burst of joy that’s guaranteed to make you smile. Jamie loves comfort and routine. She keeps a tidy crate, is quick to go potty, and has great recall. Her favorite place is curled up in her bed with a soft blanket, though she’s just as happy being right by your side, where she feels safest and most content. She enjoys gentle playtime with other dogs and is dog friendly, making her a great fit for a calm household. Plush toys may not survive long with her, but her love and companionship absolutely will. Jamie is incredibly affectionate and thrives on connection. She wants nothing more than to be close to her person, offering quiet companionship, loyalty, and lots of love. Jamie was originally saved from a euthanasia list in Houston, Texas by another rescue but was unfortunately abandoned in boarding. She has been with our rescue for the past six months and is now truly ready for the forever home she deserves. She is fully vetted, spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and has been maintained on heartworm prevention. She is available for out-of-state transport to the right adopter. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who will stay close and fill your home with warmth, Jamie could be your perfect match. Story
We received Rufus when he was about 8 weeks old. We believe his mom was a boxer a his dad a mix. We are guessing, just from looks, maybe a lab mix. We had an older boxer when Rufus came home and he and her got very close and sadly, she has now passed. We have 5 small children, so he is very used to kids. Unfortunately, Rufus has lost his play mate and we also have very busy schedules with all of the children in the mix. He is crate trained and house trained. Rufus knows shake, sit, understands commands such as “lay down” and “down”. He is very playful, has a funny personality, and likes to get his energy out. We feel like he would benefit from another family with kids or another dog friend he could get close too. Once he meets other dogs, he gets along with them. He’s been around 5 other dogs of family member (small and large breeds). He is trained not to get on the couch or beds, but loves when the sitters allow him to at their houses haha. He is a big snuggler and loves to give hugs.

Story
Huxley is a 5 year old male purebred boxer. We received him when he was 8 weeks old. He is a very smart, loving dog who enjoys attention. He is mild-mannered, but can get very excited with certain people. He is protective of his family. He is house-trained - rare to have accidents within the home. He loves treats and food, and playing with my son. He is not destructive (doesn't chew on furniture or things he shouldn't). He is familiar with kennels and looks forward to going to be with the other dogs; he actually seems sad sometimes to come home! There haven't been any incidents with other dogs. He knows "paw", "down", "sit", "stay". He enjoys going to bed, is fine to sleep in his cage or a bed, and doesn't bark at night. He is extremely good around kids - very patient, loving and protective. We unfortunately will be moving and just want to find him a good home with a loving family.

Ozzie is a great dog. He is a big cuddler and always wants to be with his person. He does great with the crate and is house trained. He does not bark often. Ozzie has no known health issues and has been easy to care for. I am looking to re-home him due to health issues that have left me immobile and unable to care for him at all. I hope to find somewhere with a fenced in yard so he can play & explore, and someone to just love him & give him a good life like he deserves. He has not been socialized much with other dogs, so I don’t know how he would do with another animal in the home.
