Story
Meet Jamie! Jamie is a sturdy Staffordshire Bull Terrier with the sweetest personality and a calm, easygoing nature. She has a relaxed, cozy vibe most of the time, but when she gets excited, she shows off her adorable “turbo turn,” a little burst of joy that’s guaranteed to make you smile. Jamie loves comfort and routine. She keeps a tidy crate, is quick to go potty, and has great recall. Her favorite place is curled up in her bed with a soft blanket, though she’s just as happy being right by your side, where she feels safest and most content. She enjoys gentle playtime with other dogs and is dog friendly, making her a great fit for a calm household. Plush toys may not survive long with her, but her love and companionship absolutely will. Jamie is incredibly affectionate and thrives on connection. She wants nothing more than to be close to her person, offering quiet companionship, loyalty, and lots of love. Jamie was originally saved from a euthanasia list in Houston, Texas by another rescue but was unfortunately abandoned in boarding. She has been with our rescue for the past six months and is now truly ready for the forever home she deserves. She is fully vetted, spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and has been maintained on heartworm prevention. She is available for out-of-state transport to the right adopter. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who will stay close and fill your home with warmth, Jamie could be your perfect match. Please reach out to schedule a FaceTime meet and greet and learn more about bringing her home.

Story
Pete is a 7-month-old white Pit Bull who came to us as a stray in very poor condition — thin, covered in fleas, and extremely shy, especially around hands. He is just now starting to come out of his shell and show us glimpses of his sweet personality. At only 34 lbs, Pete is underweight and will need time, good nutrition, and steady care to gain strength and confidence. He is still learning that people can be safe, so he will need a patient home that allows him to go at his own pace.Pete didn’t get the best start in life, but he’s making progress every day. With kindness and consistency, he has all the potential to grow into a loving, loyal companion. His story is still being written — and he’s ready for a much brighter next chapter.

Story
Strike`s name might make him sound like a tough guy, but that`s just to keep people from knowing his secret...he`s a softy who actually really misses being part of a family that loved him. He was surrendered because his family was moving and unable to take him along, but they told us what a great companion he`d been and how he was HOUSEBROKEN, CRATE TRAINED, and even good with other dogs and cats! Strike knows how to sit, go potty, go to bed, get down, and stay on command and is always eager to learn more! He can be a little timid at first, but once he knows you are a friend he`s going to be your best bud. He likes going for rides in the car and is always up for the next big adventure! Please give him a chance!
