Hello. June is our shelter adoption from August 2025. She has been a real joy during these past 2.5 months. Watching her open up and enjoy all the benefits of being a loved on fur baby has been so rewarding. June is the perfect protector and is truly a wonderful sweet dog who loves her humans and her toys. Unfortunately she has been showing sign of reactive aggression to our 17 year old miniature poodle. We believe June will be a better fit in a home where she is the only fur baby. She is heartworm positive and has an overnight appt scheduled in December that I am willing to continue to assist with. Also her supplies and comforts will come with her as well.

This is a very hard decision for me to make, but I am looking for a new home or rescue placement for my dog where he can truly thrive. He is a good boy at heart and has many positive qualities. However, despite my best efforts and working with multiple trainers, his behavior has not improved consistently. Over time, the stress of managing his ongoing issues has become overwhelming for me. He has recently begun resource guarding toys unpredictably, and when he becomes excited, he will jump with full force into people. While I have tried training and structure, his disobedience and frequent regression have made it clear that I do not have the patience or skill set he needs. This has caused me a great deal of stress and has unfortunately led to feelings of resentment, which isn’t fair to him or to me. I can provide his crate, a large bag of his current food, and a leash to help with the transition.

Gus is an adorable and affectionate Boxer mix who is eager to find his forever home.  He has turned out to be THE best boy and is loved by everyone that meets him!   He is an intelligent dog who is good with other dogs and is loyal to those around him. This handsome boy has been fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and tested Negative for heartworms!!   He was about 62 pounds when rescued from the streets, and he is still thin.  We believe he is approximately 2 years old, maybe less.  He sometimes still urinates like a puppy and he's so curious about Everything... sneaks up on anything unfamiliar.  It's so cute to watch! Gus is house-trained and he knows 'sit.'  He takes treats very gently from your hand and will give you big kisses in return.  He's playful, but will happily chill with you on the couch, too !
