Story
Meet Brody – The High-Speed Goofball with a Heart Full of Love Some dogs walk through life. Brody flies through it...usually at full speed. This happy-go-lucky boy is always ready for the next adventure. Whether he's chasing toys, wrestling with dog friends, going for a hike, or curling up beside you after a busy day, Brody gives everything he does 100%. He's affectionate, goofy, incredibly loyal, and loves being part of whatever his family is doing. If you're looking for a dog who will keep you laughing, keep you active, and then happily snuggle on the couch afterward, Brody might just be your perfect match. Brody Loves: * Playing with other dogs * Running and zooming around the yard * Walks and hiking * Car rides * Playing fetch and tug * Sniffing and exploring * Playing with toys * Outdoor patios * Watching TV with his family * Cuddling after a busy day Brody's Favorite Thing: Playing with his dog friends. Brody absolutely loves running and playing with other dogs. One of his foster's favorite things to watch is Brody chasing the resident pups around the yard. He's so fast that he sometimes can't slowdown in time and ends up barrel rolling over or under the other dogs before popping right back up to keep playing. His goofy antics never fail to make everyone laugh. A Loyal Adventure Buddy: Brody is affectionate, eager to learn, and loves being involved in family activities. He's a quick learner who enjoys spending time with his people and thrives when he has structure, consistency, and opportunities to burn off his puppy energy. He does wonderfully with other dogs when given slow introductions and a chance to get comfortable. Large groups of unfamiliar dogs can be overwhelming at first, but with guidance and patience, he continues to build confidence and make friends. A Few Things to Know: * House trained with a consistent routine * Crate trained * Knows "Sit" and "Down" * Loves children * Cats are unknown but would likely do well based on his temperament * High puppy energy * Food motivated and eager to learn * Loves other dogs with slow introductions and smaller play groups * Pulls on leash and is still learning leash manners * May jump up when excited * Can be mouthy during play, as many puppies are * May counter surf if something smells delicious * Can become overstimulated during exciting situations, so continued training and consistency will help him succeed Great Activities for Brody: * Hiking adventures * Park visits * Playing fetch * Running * Car rides * Public outings * Playing with dog friends * One-on-one training sessions Best Match: * Active or outdoorsy adopters * Patient families * Family-friendly homes * Homes with another playful dog after proper introductions * People looking for an energetic companion to share adventures with Three Words That Describe Brody Best: ❤️ Energetic ❤️ Cuddly ❤️ Loyal Foster Location: Galesville, WI Brody came to rescue as an owner surrender and is now looking for a family who will appreciate his fun-loving personality, goofy sense of humor, and enormous heart. With a little guidance and plenty of love, he's going to make an incredible lifelong companion. If you're looking for a playful best friend who will keep you active, make you laugh every day, and then curl up beside you at the end of every adventure, Brody may be the perfect addition to your family. Story
Atlas - Energetic, snuggly 8 month old looking for his soulmate   In his short life Atlas has been bounced around a lot. Recently, he has been learning a lot including confidence and trust in his humans. It took Atlas about a month to decompress at his current foster home so he will require patience, trust, and a lot of positive reinforcement. He has so much love to give we know it’ll be worth it! He's so eager to please his humans in the house and will need to be supervised, corrected (when necessary), and given positive reinforcement for him to be a successful dog. He response well to a confident human so an experienced owner is recommended for Atlas. Atlas will require a slow introduction to other dogs as he doesn't like them in his face right when they meet (As is common in many dogs). After 10-15 minutes, when he’s comfortable, he will initiate play.  Atlas does enjoy wrestling with his 3 foster fur siblings, however, it will take him a while to adjust to not only a new doggie friend, but also a new routine and new home environment.  He loves to chase, wrestle, and howl when he's ready to play. Atlas can get a little jealous when the other dogs try to snuggle with his foster mom, but he takes corrects well and backs off. He loves women and loves his current foster dad, but sometimes, he is fearful of other men. He has been going out in public stores and working on his confidence. He loves getting treats from new friends, so we highly encourage his new family to continue doing that for positive experiences.  Atlas has been working very hard on his manners with the resident kitty. It took him a few weeks to understand he can't play with the cat whenever he wants. He is allowing the kitty to walk around the house without trying to chase her. He will do best with a dog savy cat or a home without a kitty friend.  Atlas is also working hard on his manners! He sits and waits until the food bowl is on the ground. He is also learning sit and wait hand signals and knows lay down. He take treats nicely, but if he gets a little too excited, he knows "nice". Atlas has great recall. He is such a human pleaser that he doesn't like to go far from them. He LOVES fetch! He loved all the toys but loves playing fetch. He will bring the ball back and drop it without you needing to tell him.  crate trained but is a big fan of cuddling with his humans Potty trained but it’s common for dogs especially ones who have been bounced around to need an adjustment period so he may have initial accidents in a new home okay with kids who are calmer and let him come on his terms but with a dog that is more on the shy/scared side, he needs to build trust with everyone he meets so we recommend no kids under 8.  loves being told when hes a "good boy". If you’re interested in adopting Atlas, and are Pre-approved, please private message us, or APPLY HERE: https://newleashdogrescue.com (or private message us if you’re already preapproved!) **Atlas’s  $250 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines to date, heartworm test, current vet check, and microchip. ##2302886##

Story
🍯 Meet Honey 🍯 Honey is equal parts Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Roo, & a bit of Eeyore too. The vibes: Pooh= Lovable, gentle, hungry. Food, honey or any food at all is the best thing ever. Tigger= Cheerful, bouncy, enthusiastic although sometimes a bit reckless Roo= Brave, playful, optimistic Eeyore= Good heart, low-key 💛 Honey is so lovable with her kisses, cuddles, and blocky head. Despite her home instability she stays optimistic and brave, loving and trusting everyone. Her cheer & enthusiasm sends her bouncing high when I get home from work. Playful moments are endless with her bestie, the resident Golden Retriever. When her playful adventures are complete she curls up for a low-key nap. Weaknesses= * prey-drive (she has an unhealthy obsession with backyard chickens in trying to jump their fence or barge through it, she sometimes makes a short sprint towards one of the cats but cuddles with them the next). * obedience (she shows little to no realization that I'm calling her unless I sit on the ground and makes kissy noises, but she does seem to understand "kennel up" for mealtime). * enthusiasm (her bounces can knock you over without realizing, she does the bully breed gargle of excitement when she sees other/new dogs especially if on leash and with paw/play somewhat obnoxiously). Strengths= * Gentle (seeing her with calm, gentle, little humans has literally brought me to tears). * Tolerant (other dogs, including the resident sassy Chihuahua, can get grumpy with her and she backs away calmly, without reacting). * Chill/go with the flow (outside she'll lounge in the sun, inside she'll lounge on the couch or in bed). * Cuteness × infinity. 📍Apply to adopt Honey today at campcompanion.org 💲Adoption fee $450 plus tax
