Story
Help us find Cora a calm loving home! Please share.   Sweet Cora is an alumni of NLOL from many years ago when she was young—but now she is about 7-8 years old and has lost her vision. She was not doing well with the younger kids in her home and they felt a calmer home would be better for her. Other than being blind, we are not aware of any health issues. She is about 40 lbs and of course it is hard for her to learn her new surroundings, so a family who will help her navigate her new environment with patience is necessary. A fenced yard is also required. She would love a calm home with no other dogs as they can also be scary to her. She loves to snuggle and is completely housebroken. Her adoption fee is fully sponsored to the right home. If you are interested and don't have an application on file, please go to our website and fill out an application. www.newleashdogrescue.com. If you have an application on file, please PM us. ##2231956##

Story
Atlas, FKA Ferrari of the car pups litter, has found himself in search of a new furever home. Atlas was born 11/27/2024 so is just 7 months old. He came from Texas with his siblings back in February. He was adopted fairly quickly but he was struggling with the young child in his previous home so we feel he may do best in a home without young children. He also should not be in a home with cats. He’s current about 30 lbs so we expect him to stay around the medium size.    Atlas loves HARD. He has his person and he really attaches to that person, so much so that he can be uneasy with other people at times but also has done well when new people come over. He’s so young, and has been in multiple homes in such a short period, we believe he can over come this but he will need patience from his family. Atlas will also benefit greatly from professional training to help him develop the confidence he needs!   walks well using a harness but does need some work to focus on his human not other doggies walking by he loves with all his heart. He lights up when he sees his human and his snuggles will melt your heart.  fully potty trained kennel trained but can be left out of the kennel, he usually just lays wherever my dog does and waits.  HE DOESNT CHEW - he only chews his bones! He doesn’t shred toys and he will happily chew a benebone instead    If you’re interested in adopting Atlas, and are Pre-approved, please private message us, or APPLY HERE: https://newleashdogrescue.com (or private message us if you’re already preapproved!)   **Atlas’s  $250 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines to date, heartworm test, current vet check, and microchip. ##2302886##

Popsicle was found with a group of other dogs in a rural shelter that was was being neglected. She had spent almost 2 full years in this “shelter” before the neglect was discovered. She was living in a dog kennel with barely any interaction. Every time I look at her it breaks my heart. She is adjusting exceptionally well. I do have to limit her crate time or she would stay in there all the time. She loves walks and playing with her other fur friends!
