Story
This sweet girl is Maybel, She is snuggle bug who loves to run around and play outside with her toys . She is a scared cat but will pretend to be tough if someone approaches the house in the middle of the night. ( she will definitely flop on her back and when they get inside tho) Due to my work schedule and recent relocation my house doesn’t allow large dogs. She would do well with a women or couple who has a yard to play in. And a small dog she loves other dogs. She grew around a 8 pound chihuahua. She is very much small dog safe and loves to play with big dogs too. She is kennel trained and it’s her safe place would recommend 1000% she has one. And will let you know when she needs to potty.

Story
From the moment Emely saw other dogs in the play yard, she assumed the “let’s play” position inviting the others to “bring it on!” Obviously housebroken (although never guaranteed), she got about her business immediately once unleashed!!! A medium sized lady, Emely has a pretty cool disposition and would likely fair well in any home. Emely is a recent mom and gladly accepts affection and follows gentle petting with a sprinkle of the tiniest and sweetest kisses. She could surely be your Valentine! To top things off, Emely is heartworm negative, spayed and ready to come play with you today! Black dogs are often overlooked but don’t lose sight of this spectacular lady!Come adopt from the Humane Society of South Mississippi (HSSM), a progressive animal welfare organization located in Gulfport, MS. Story
Piggly, a 2.5-year-old male Boxer, was found in Harrison County with his sister, barely surviving in filthy conditions. When they arrived at HSSM, both were skeletal—Piggly weighing just 28 pounds, his body starved of both food and kindness. Hookworms drained his already fragile system, and on top of it all, he tested positive for heartworm disease. Since he has come into the shelter he has started to show us his personality. He loves to cuddle and is just a big baby at heart. Piggly loves to romp around and play with other dogs to his heart`s content. He even rolls over for belly rubs once he’s tired and just needs a nap. Piggly puts the past behind him and continues to move into his bright future every day. As we see him open up and take life one paw at a time, He reminds all of us to just keep going. Piggly would love a family as dedicated to him as he is to living.

Story
Opal is not just any dog; she is a symbol of resilience and joy. Rescued from a hoarding case where she lived with 26 other dogs, Opal's story is one that tugs at your heartstrings. You can see more about the situation she came from here: https://www.facebook.com/forpetssakerescue/posts/593288159729729 Opal suffered from an untreated eye infection for months. She has been treated however she does have cosmetic damages to her eyes. This poses no issue medically and Opal has great eye sight. Opal was found in a challenging environment, surrounded by many other dogs, which often led to overcrowding and limited individual attention. Despite her tough beginnings, Opal has emerged as a vibrant and energetic American Bully. She embodies the spirit of resilience and demonstrates that love can flourish even in the most challenging circumstances. Opal thrives on movement and play. Whether it’s running in the yard, playing fetch, or simply jumping with excitement at the sound of a leash, Opal's zest for life is infectious.   PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT:   Completed applications take precedence over inquiries.
