Story
Meet Bellatrix! This 7 month old girl is a burst of sunshine wrapped in soft fur and boundless energy. She’s affectionate, outgoing, and full of youthful enthusiasm for life, toys, and attention—all the things that make puppyhood both chaotic and wonderful. She’ll thrive in a home with space to run, play, and burn off her playful zoomies, and she’s also clever enough to entertain herself when needed. Like all young pups, she’ll need guidance and patience, but she gives back double the joy for every bit of effort. Bellatrix is ready to grow up with someone who doesn’t mind a little puppy chaos in exchange for a lifetime of love. She's already spayed and ready to go home with you today! By adopting me today you will save the life of two pets -- you'll save me and that will make room for the Shelter to rescue and save another pet.

Story
URGENT: Rollo is a 1.5 year old Boxerdoodle boy that came to me at the age of 4 weeks old. He is very smart and cuddly -- he knows how to sit & kiss, he loves to do puzzles, & he learned talking buttons before we moved. He loves other dogs, and he is great with females and neutered males. He loves children as well! He also likes to go hiking off leash and play fetch & he is an ideal companion for an active person or family. He has all of his shots, including a 3-year rabies, & I can provide medical records as well as transfer his microchip. We have been working on jumping up on guests & he does have separation anxiety that seems to be slowly resolving. He is being rehomed through no fault of his own. I live alone and have started a job that requires long hours and very limited days off. No rehoming fee for the right family.

Story
UPDATE!✨ Meet Buddy. Sadly, he was surrendered when his family could no longer care for him. He is super friendly, loves people and other dogs. He is 25 lbs. He is silent in his crate and doing great with house and crate training. Did fine with a cat in the house. Very treat motivated.  His owners did a DNA test and he’s terrier and boxer mix. He’s around 6 months old now. He is  utd, neutered and ready for the perfect forever home.  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $195 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you! Story
We found Archie as a stray in Sept 2025, no one answered our ad, he is now 18 mos-2 years old. He had no problem blending in to our multiple dog household and seemed to have been a house dog, enjoying rough and tumble play with our smaller dog. Archie is up-to-date on shots, heartworm negative, chipped, recently neutered,, rides well in the car, uses a doggie door,is not cat friendly! He now weighs 52 pounds and very strong! Archie is surely mixed breed, but looks like, and shares many characteristics of a Carolina Dog, including a lot of vocalizing! My husband and I are elderly and since Archie joined our family, we’ve had multiple medical issues and realize Archie is too much dog for us long-term, and he would be better off in a setting where he can get training and plenty of exercise, which we are not going to be able to do. He’s very smart, eager to learn, very trainable and wants to be a big lap baby!We want him to go to a good home and enjoy a long happy life!
