Funky Monkey is a sweet and quirky guy. He has come out of his shell quite a bit with staff members since he first arrived into the shelter, as he was quite shy at first. As his personality has started to shine through, staff has found him to be very silly! He loves to play with tennis balls and stuffed toys. Funky Monkey is incredibly smart and can be quite affectionate. He doesn't know personal space and sniffs everything very closely, including your face (He wants to know what you had for lunch probably). He is currently learning not to put hands in his mouth when he gets playful! He is looking for a patient home that is understanding of his underlying anxiety and willing to work with him on training mouthing behaviors!🐒🍌🐾

Ladybug is 40 pounds and was saved from a rural pound. She is very friendly and loves to snuggle on the couch. She is young and has a lot of energy so a country home or fenced in yard is a requirement. Dur to her energy, she is not a good fit with small children but ok with older kids. Ladybug is a good girl who needs a family who can give her the patience to trust again.

Akuma is a very sweet well trained boy in need of a better home. His owner was staying with us for a while with him and due to some circumstances he has been left abandoned with our family. We have another male dog who does not get along with other males if his size. He is crate trained and knows various commands and gets along well with our other dogs. I am hoping to find him a good home as the financial strain of another dog gets harder on our family. His exact breed mix is unknown but we suspect he is part pittie.

Meet Dewey! Dewey is a fun loving boy who loves everyone he meets! 2 and 4 legged! He is completely enamored with small dogs as well and has chosen one as his Girl while he is with us. Dewey is a medium sized boy who weighs around 50lbs but thinks he is 5lbs. He does fairly well with not messing in his kennel but sometimes that is hard to do with all the smells. Dewey will be fully vetted including Neuter Heartworm Test Deworming Vaccines including Rabies and Lepto Placed on Monthly Preventatives Microchipped If you are interested in meeting Dewey please complete our adoption application on our website at www.moberlyanimalshelter.bravesites.com Meet and greets will be scheduled for approved adopters.
