Story
Hello potential adopters, my name is Lady. If you’re looking for a dog to keep you on your toes, I may be the perfect fit! We’ll spend our days playing lots and lots of fetch. Are you into hiking, or hiking? How about cycling? I’m a very active girl with a need for speed and fun! I’m food motivated too. I’m looking for a fresh start and who could blame me after being abandoned by my previous owners. I was locked in a bathroom and they moved away. I’m doing okay though, these people try their best to keep me entertained but I would really love an active family of my own. One where I don’t have to spend my nights alone in a kennel while everyone else goes home. Do you think I sound fun or like a good fit? Please reach out to meet me if so!

Story
Specter has been patiently waiting for the right home. He’s a giant puppy at heart—silly, goofy, and full of personality, with the silliest faces and the softest speckled ears you’ll ever touch. It appears Specter missed some early manner foundations, but he’s eager to learn and truly wants to please. He does best with confident, consistent leadership and is currently on a behavior plan to help channel his puppy energy and build manners. He listens well when corrected and thrives with clear guidance. Specter is housebroken, loves toys, belly rubs, naps, and car rides. He likes other dogs but can be a bit picky about sharing space, and he can get overstimulated on leash sometimes, so a confident adopter is best. For now, he’s looking for a home without young kids while he continues learning. In the right hands, Specter is a very good boy with tons of potential—and more than ready to find his people. Please consider adopting him!

Story
🐾 Hi, I'm Jackson! 🐾I'm a super-sweet Boxer, and I just turned 7 years old! You might notice I have a little something special about me—I'm totally deaf. But guess what? That doesn't slow me down one bit! I rely on my eyes, my nose, and my amazing sense of wiggle to experience the world.I think of myself as an expert-level cuddler and a full-time professional snuggler. Even though I can't hear them, I watch my humans really carefully, and I know exactly what they mean when they wave their hands or give me a big smile.I have so much energy and love to play! I can run and chase toys with the best of them. I'm a really happy boy, and I make sure to give everyone I meet the biggest, wiggliest greeting ever. Life is an adventure, and I'm ready for the next one!Stray Haven Humane Society & SPCA194 Shepard Rd., Waverly, NY 14892(607) 565-2859, www.strayhavenspca.org Open hours:Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pmSaturday-Sunday 10am-4pmClosed on Mondays

Story
Meet Hank — The Sweet Senior With Endless Spark! ✨ Hank may be a senior, but don’t let that fool you — this handsome gentleman still has plenty of pep in his step! 🏃‍♂️💨 After spending months at ACS, Hank is now thriving in foster care while he continues his search for the forever family he’s been dreaming of. His foster family adores him, but this sweet boy is more than ready to settle into his true forever home. Hank is housetrained (gold star for Hank! ⭐), loves people, and is the definition of good boy energy. He’s super sweet, affectionate, and always ready to brighten your day with his warm, wiggly presence. 🥰 He could be a great match for a cat-savvy home 🐱✨ and would do best as the main furry star of the household — he loves being the center of attention in the loveliest way. Hank is kid-experienced and loves their company, making him a wonderful match for a family looking for safe, happy playtime with a sweet senior companion. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💕 If you're looking for a loving companion with wisdom, warmth, and plenty of life left to live, Hank is your guy.
