Story
Scooby is an adorable Boxer mix who was found running in the Town of Lafayette. He is a CRAZY young man with LOTS of energy to burn! But he is very funny and would provide a lot of entertainment for his new family. He would be great in a home with children 8 and older (so he doesn't knock them over)

Story
Sweet, handsome Charles came into our care as a stray from the Town of Salina. This little boy loves to play with toys and walks very nicely on a leash! He is such a happy fella just watch out for that tail, its a whip! We think he would do best in a home with kids aged 8 and up.

Story
Mister Zeus is a sweet big boy that unfortunately doesn't know his size and has little to no manners! He is absolutely going to need some training as he is a bit nibbly when he gets excited, not in an aggressive way, just a puppy way! We think he would do best in a home with older children around 13+ until he learns some manners.

Story
Hello, I'm Kyle! I am 59 pounds and ready to rumble! I'm a nice guy but this place can be a little too much sometimes. You see, I'm only about 1.5 years old, but I've been passed around a bit already. Someone gave me away, then that person gave me to someone else, who brought me here. I've been trying very hard to be brave, and it's paid off, but I'm hoping I can just get out of the shelter and find myself a forever home. I'm told that's when some humans feed, love and play with you for the rest of your life. That sounds pretty good to me! I can be a little weary of strangers but once I get to know you, I'm all in! I'm a loyal friend but not a snob. As long as you respect me as a living being, we will be happy together! Since small humans are sometimes unable to tell when I'm feeling uncomfortable, I think I'd prefer a home with adults or older teens only for now. I like to play with other dogs, rough and tumble style. If you have a dog who likes to wrestle and play chase, I might be a good friend for them! Call, email or stop by the shelter today to find out more! (607)257-1822 x221 adoptions@spcaonline.com (adoptions category: purple)

Story
Hello dog lovers! As you can see by my photos, I am a handsome pup with a slim muscular build along with a great smile and super sweet personality. My foster dad calls me Lambchop sometimes as my wrinkly forehead reminds him of that puppet. I like treats, stuffed toys, chew bones, and most importantly all my people friends. Snuggling is one of my favorite activities. Right now, I am being fostered by a volunteer several days each week and made a new canine friend, Sadie. We get along great and enjoy a bit of a romp or just snoozing on the deck together. My foster mom says I'm a very easy guest. I wait patiently for my dinner and have no issues around sharing my food, toys, bones, etc. I go right into my crate at night and don't make a peep until morning. I haven't had one accident in the house either. She called me a real gentleman! Fast-moving possible-prey (like chipmunks) really get my attention so if you have a cat it should be a confident one who will let me know who is boss! Kids make me nervous, so I would like a household with just adults and teenagers. Because I do like companionship, a place where people were home a lot would be my dream home. I can get stressed at the shelter with all the noises and activity going on but that is not the real me! I am hoping I might be just that best friend you have been looking for. To meet me or find out more info, contact the SPCA at 607-257-1822 X221 adoptions@spcaonline.com. (Adoption Category: Purple)

Story
Hi friends, I'm Bailey, a 42 pound 2 year old looking for a new home! Originally, I came here as a stray and was very scared and nervous. I have been very brave since then and have made a lot of new human friends! Eventually, someone did say they knew me but couldn't keep me. They shared some information about my life before this, so my new people can hopefully understand me a little better. I'm your typical young, energetic boy so I hope I can find someone who likes to play, hike, run or otherwise be active with me! I hope you can do brain-training things with me too, like puzzle toys, practicing things like "sit" or "watch me". That way, you don't have an athletic dog who doesn't think before he acts! If you think I'm cute and worth the work, call, email or stop by the shelter to find out more about adopting! Oh, one more thing, I have a history of not being that great at sharing with other dogs, so I think I'd like to be your one-and-only, if you don't mind. Ok, hope to see you soon!
