With her puppies now adopted, Mini is beginning her own journey of decompressing and rebuilding confidence. She is slowly learning what it means to feel secure, accept gentle affection, and relax in a home environment. Max has been in rescue for over two years and has made tremendous progress during that time. When he first arrived, he was very dependent on his former housemate and needed time to learn how to feel secure and confident on his own. With structure, training, and consistency, Max has grown into a well-adjusted, social dog who understands his basic commands and does well around other dogs. Max is friendly and affectionate, good with children, and may be suitable for a home with a dog-savvy cat. He is not comfortable walking on a leash and will require a secure, fenced yard where he can safely exercise and relax. Max is around 7 years old, neutered, fully vetted, microchipped, and ready for adoption. After waiting patiently for the right match, he is looking for a home that will offer him stability, understanding, and a commitment for life.
