IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Teeka, a 1 year 7 month old spayed female, Boxer mix, 42lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with a yard, daily exercise, training and patience. She’s a goofy, happy, loving girl and with just one look into those pretty doe eyes, your heart will melt! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt her? Story
Say hello to Mabel, a fabulous nine-year-old boxer mix. She may be a “senior” on paper, but don’t tell her that—Mable still has plenty of pep in her paws and a whole lot of love left to give!Mabel is sixty pounds of pure sweetness, the perfect size for snuggles, strolls, and leaning her whole heart (and body) into your legs for extra pets. And trust us… she LOVES pets. Ear scritches? Yes. Belly rubs? Double yes. Gentle forehead kisses? Yes, please!Mable’s favorite hobbies are leisurely walks, accepting pets, and being adored!Mabel loves car rides and has lived with a cat. Other dogs may be too much for her; she`s something of a flirt and wants all the attention for yourself! She’s a happy, easygoing girl who’s past the chaos of puppyhood but still playful, curious, and ready for new adventures - especially if those adventures include snacks! If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, loyal buddy who believes every day is a good day, Mabel is your girl.

Story
Jenny is one-of-a-kind! She is 7 years old, with a calm and sweet personality. She always receives high praises from her vet, groomers, or pet sitters. Jenny is fully trained and knows basic commands, walks wonderfully on a leash, and is an easy, enjoyable companion to have by your side. She’s a chill dog who loves to relax but has a fun, endearing personality that shines once she feels comfortable. Because of her naturally timid and fearful nature, Jenny can be protective when unfamiliar people enter her home. She thrives in a calm, predictable environment with people who understand her sensitivity and are willing to give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. Jenny would do best in an adult only home, as young children can unintentionally overwhelm her. I am committed to finding the right match for Jenny and would be happy to share more details about her history, personality, and habits with anyone interested in giving her a loving home. ❤️

We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Meet Gordo, a 6 month old, 52lbs pitbull mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. He’s already crate trained and potty trained, making him an easy addition to a lucky home. Gordo is incredibly affectionate and happiest when he’s close to his humans, soaking up attention and giving plenty of love in return. Gordo is wonderfully social and gets along great with cats, dogs, and kids of all ages. He’s gentle and patient, even with littles while he happily hands out kisses. He greets everyone with a wagging tail and a friendly, curious nature. With other dogs, Gordo is playful and respectful. He enjoys bouncy puppy play but has great awareness and will back off if another dog needs space. He’s been around dogs of all sizes and does well with all, making him a great companion whether he has dog siblings or not. Gordo has a nice, moderate energy level—he loves to play but also settles down easily. He’s working on leash manners and can get excited when meeting new dogs, but it’s all friendly enthusiasm. He’s also great in the car, comfortable in his crate, and shows no signs of separation anxiety. Overall, Gordo is an easygoing, loving pup who would fit into just about any home. With his gentle nature, good manners, and sweet personality, he’s ready to bring joy, cuddles, and companionship to his forever family. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Addie, 4.5 year old, spayed female pitbull terrier mix, 45 pounds. Addie is in a foster home in Houston, TEXAS and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! Addie was saved from the streets of a north Houston neighborhood known for being a dumping ground for unwanted pets. When she was rescued, she was nearly hairless from mange, massively underweight and had experienced only a lifetime of struggle and raising litters. Addie is still learning what it means to be a loved house dog, but she is a willing and promising pupil and is loving her new lease on life! She is crate trained and stays in the kennel while her foster is at work for up to 8-9hrs, as well as sleeping in there at night. She has been trusted to sleep loose on occasion and has not had any issues in the house. She's still perfecting her house skills and may have the occasional accident until she settles into her new Furever home's routine. We do not have history with cats or children. In general, we recommend homes with kids who are old enough to understand and respect animal behavior cues and would always suggest supervised interactions until all parties are well accustomed to the other. Addie is a sweet, gentle girl, so she would likely do well around young kids, but may prefer older, calmer pre-teens and teenagers. Addie never had doggy "friends" before so she's not super playful. When she does interact, she greatly prefers her male friends of equal to bigger size (40-60lbs) and picks up on their cues to cease playtime. She is very curious and pulls towards the female dogs she's encountered but has yet found a girlfriend she enjoys playing with. This cutie has not shown any aggression around food or other resources but she is very much is a hungry, hungry hippo! She will try to eat everyone else's food, so we do recommend feeding her separately. Her foster says she is realizing that she will be getting another meal, and is getting much better with this. Addie has a few wishes for her new home: *walkies for 20-30 mins twice a day *a yard to roam and run around in *a male dog sibling to cuddle up and sleep next to *couches aplenty since she's in her Soft Life Era *all of the love and affection she missed out on while fending for herself on the street Although she is timid at first, but once she trusts you, Addie is overflowing with love. She is a survivor and has proven that the resilience of dogs will not be diminished, no matter how unfortunate life or unkind humans have been to them. We all can’t wait to see her living her best life with her new family!
