Story
Spike is a purebred American boxer. He is territorial with food and bones, but he’s gotten better since I’ve adopted him. He’s pretty good with cats and dogs that are around his size. He is very affectionate and likes to be around his owner. He loves bones to death and enjoys walks. The SPCA informed me he has snapped at children and toddlers, he has behavioral issues and territorial issues. he needs someone who can be around him often and help him learn not to do that. I am away from home quite a bit and cannot properly train and give him attention. I need someone who is willing to adopt him and take care of him. Will need to transfer ownership through SPCA.

Story
Please do not call/text/email about this pet. We will only consider/respond to those who have applied for this dog on our website. Finn is a COURTESY POST! He was fostered through another rescue that closed down and left his foster high and dry to take care of him and find him a home on his own. His foster reached out to us for help finding him a home that will enroll him in training for some of his behavioral tendencies that were caused by his traumatic past. FINN IS LOOKING FOR A FOSTER AND/OR ADOPTER! Please reach out to us if you are able to foster Finn! Finn is a 3 year old Boxer Mix who was given up at 8 weeks old because he chewed on baby toys. His second family abused him and fractured his spine which later got infected. He loves all kinds of toys, he loves to cuddle, play, and run around acting silly. He loves to learn and can be wonderful with other dogs if introduced properly. He takes treats gently and loves to give kisses once he is introduced properly and warmed up to a new person. He is not the most confident boy because of his past. He has some trust issues and is picky about who he will allow to see his softer side. He will need a home without kids and only with other dogs if they have no behavioral issues. Finn needs a strong willed owner who will give him the time he needs to settle into a new home and the boundaries and structure necessary to keep him feeling secure. Although he comes with some issues, his foster mom has seen that he is loyal, loving, sweet and extremely smart. Give Finn a chance and some training! He is fixed and up-to-date on all shots.
