Story
Tybee is a 2-3 year old, 80+ pound, very tall black Boxer. Current on vaccines, neutered, house and crate trained. He is ok with female dogs, but I wouldn't put him with a male dog that is large and would do very slow introductions. He is well housetrained and never messes in his crate. He is well crate trained and goes in without a problem. He does walk well on the leash, but can pull a bit if he wants to get to something. He does know his basic commands of sit, stay and down. He is highly treat motivated and is trained to sit at street crossings. He also does try to sit along the walk to see if he can coax an extra treat or two! As for children, he is great with them, but due to his size, I would recommend older children. Tybee is still working on his mouthing, where he chews on hands and has to be reminded not to do this. We work to not get him overexcited as he can be overstimulated and then mouths a lot and becomes very pushy. He is a sweet, curious boy that wants to be loved. He does need to be monitored when out walking, as he is like a toddler where everything goes in the mouth (frogs, centipedes, worms, acorns, bugs, etc.). He loves to run and jog, and would do great with an active family that would love to get his energy out. He has the entire staff at his Veterinary Office madly in love with him, and his great personality. He does well with both men and woman. He also rides very well in the car in his crate. He has also done well living with rabbits, chincillas, sugar gliders, rats and guinea pigs without even bothering one of them. If interested in adopting Tybee please fill out an adoption application at operationsaveashelterdog.org. Adoption fee $250.

Story
Sophie is a 4-year-old Boxer mix who has a gorgeous tan coat and a sweet personality. She is spayed, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. She is looking for her forever home where she can be loved and pampered. Sophie was pulled from Lee County Animal Shelter and is now in foster care. She is house trained and great with people and kids. She is also great with all dogs after slow introductions, and she loves small dogs and puppies especially. She is super loving and enjoys giving kisses and cuddles. Sophie likes to go on car rides and relax with her humans. She would do best in a home with a fenced yard where she can play. Sophie is waiting for you to come and meet her. She is sure that you will fall in love with her as soon as you see her. If you think you are the perfect match for Sophie, please contact us today and let us know why. We can’t wait to hear from you!

Story
Please do not call/text/email about this pet. We will only consider/respond to those who have applied for this dog on our website. Finn is a COURTESY POST! He was fostered through another rescue that closed down and left his foster high and dry to take care of him and find him a home on his own. His foster reached out to us for help finding him a home that will enroll him in training for some of his behavioral tendencies that were caused by his traumatic past. FINN IS LOOKING FOR A FOSTER AND/OR ADOPTER! Please reach out to us if you are able to foster Finn! Finn is a 3 year old Boxer Mix who was given up at 8 weeks old because he chewed on baby toys. His second family abused him and fractured his spine which later got infected. He loves all kinds of toys, he loves to cuddle, play, and run around acting silly. He loves to learn and can be wonderful with other dogs if introduced properly. He takes treats gently and loves to give kisses once he is introduced properly and warmed up to a new person. He is not the most confident boy because of his past. He has some trust issues and is picky about who he will allow to see his softer side. He will need a home without kids and only with other dogs if they have no behavioral issues. Finn needs a strong willed owner who will give him the time he needs to settle into a new home and the boundaries and structure necessary to keep him feeling secure. Although he comes with some issues, his foster mom has seen that he is loyal, loving, sweet and extremely smart. Give Finn a chance and some training! He is fixed and up-to-date on all shots. Story
Hi I'm Bernadette! I am an approximately 3 year old boxer mix. If I were on a dating app this is how my profile would read:  petite lady with minimal body hair seeks human for life companion.  I'm the real deal and I am looking for a commitment.  I've been married before and have been left high & dry so if you are here to play around, keep swiping.  I like to take things slow, I am a foodie, I like dogs & cats. I also have a a fun  personality!  Kids ... I am going to be honest, the younger ones stress me out.  Just being honest.  Did I mention how honest I am? Well, I am.  I am also a catch. Come catch me! Love, Bernadette Bernadette is spayed, up to date on shots, dewormed & also microchipped. Her microchip will be registered to her new adopter at no additional cost. While waiting for her forever home Bernadette is being fostered in Fayetteville, NC  To adopt: http://petstablished.com/adoption_form/2602/generic ##1653862##
