This is my sweet boy, a Boxer/Lab mix who will be 7 years old in January. I’ve had him since he was just 8 weeks old I got him from a co-worker who had rescued his mother and it truly breaks my heart to be re-homing him. Unfortunately, due to my current living situation and work schedule, he’s not getting the time, love, and attention he deserves. He’s the goofiest, most lovable dog you’ll ever meet. He loves adventures, going for walks, playing fetch, and splashing around in his pool. He gets along great with other dogs (big or small), is friendly with cats, and has been around children with no issues, though he’s never lived full-time with one in the home. He would thrive in a home that can give him plenty of love, attention, and playtime. He’s such a loyal, affectionate, and happy dog who just wants to be part of your world. Finding him a family who can give him the life he deserves is incredibly important to me he truly is the sweetest boy.

This gentle giant is being returned to rescue through no fault of his own, and we’re hoping his next stop is his forever home. Hank is the kind of dog who turns heads at the dog park and wins hearts wherever he goes. He’s incredibly sweet with babies, kids, adults, and other animals, and he absolutely adores other dogs. Whether he’s romping around with friends or lounging by your feet, Hank is just happy to be included. He’s neutered, healthy, and fully up to date on his vaccines. He’s also crate trained, housebroken, and doesn’t chew – a rare trifecta. Hank is trustworthy at home alone during the day, though we’re sure he’ll miss you while you’re gone. Bruce loves to love and will greet you with a wiggly butt, the softest brown eyes, and the ultimate snuggle session every time you come home.  His second favorite thing after snuggles? Tennis balls! Although, they're less for fetching and more for throwing and carrying around. Bruce is a lower energy guy and doesn't require a whole lot of exercise. A short walk and some time in the yard and he's right back to snoring on the couch.  Bruce is a champ at reading other dogs and will adjust his playstyle and level of engagement based on what they're comfortable with. His current foster sister isn't a big fan of other dogs and he is incredibly respectful of her space. He's even lived with small dogs before! Bruce would really love to have another dog in the home to make the time pass quicker when you're gone. While he struggled with separation distress at first, he's built lots of confidence in his foster home and found a great, cheap medication that makes his separation distress very manageable.  When you return home, he'll show off his favorite trick- a big hug! He knows some other basic cues like sit, down, place, and stay, and he is potty trained and leash trained. He'd love to snuggle in your bed and ensure you have the sweetest dreams, but he'll settle for a dog bed on the floor if that's not your style. If you're good at giving belly rubs and have a dog that wants a buddy, you've found your guy!
