Story
Cas is a pure bred Boxer that was born outside a breeders normal breeding cycle so he does not have papers. He is a loving and energetic dog that gets along with other animals. He is house trained and kennel trained as well. Cas has a lot of energy and requires an owner that has the time to give him the attention he needs. With new jobs and our kids going to full time school and activities we are now able to appropriately give him the attention he needs and we'd be happier if we knew he had someone that could provide this much needed attention he needs. Please ask any other questions and I will do my best to answer them.

Story
Winnie is two years old, fifty-three-pound boy. We believe Winnie is part boxer and Brittany spaniel.  Winnie is a great dog, with great appeal, very soulful. His foster writes: Winnie is very gentle. He's good natured and snuggly. He loves the fenced yard but would even do fine as an apartment dog as long as he can be close to you. He is very well mannered and not food aggressive, gently takes treats from your hand. Winchester is good with female dogs his size. Apply on CrisisDogsNC.org. We reply only to completed applications, no calls. Excellent vet reference and virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We prefer fenced yard, but this is not required for all our dogs. We transport by land or air whenever possible.May 30, 2023, 6:56 pm

Story
A wonderful and caring dog, that doesn’t know the he is not a lap dog. Ruger is trained to be obedient when feeding and recall off leash, if you give him enough love. For companionship you can’t get any better. Well socialized with dogs and complete safe with kids (will never show signs of aggression). Ruger is also completely content to stay indoors and chill or go for a nice long run/walk. Nothing bad to say about him, but he will be missed.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please be sure to click on Cassi's photo to learn all about her, and the home we are seeking for her placement.Cassi may be the smallest of her litter, but you'd never know it.  This girl does everything in the biggest way.  She is an all-four-paws-in kinda girl.  She needs a family who will ensure she excels just as well at both "calm and collected", as she does at cuteness.  If you wait for her to collect herself enough to do as you've asked, she will will please you each, and every time.  It's hard to be calm and collected when you're this cute, right?!  She's begun her crate training, is learning her leash lessons, and has basic obedience training.  She'd love another big brother or two in her forever home- she loves to socialize with other dogs.  She's learning her kitty manners too, and she has been very attentive and respectful of cats who set boundaries.      Since Cassi is such a young pup, she needs humans who are not gone for long hours.  All humans in her forever home must be 12 years of age, or older.  She requires a fenced in yard (physical fencing no invisible fences, please).  She is up to date on preventative medications, and age appropriate vaccines too. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 28, 2023, 9:15 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please click on Celeste's photo in order to read all about her and the home we are seeking for her placement.Celeste entered foster care very pregnant.  She has been a wonderful mom to her pups, and now she is ready to live the good life- without the worries of being a mother.  We have no doubt Celeste was an outdoor only dog in her previous life, but she absolutely adores the comforts of living indoors, though from time to time she needs to be reminded about proper etiquette and expectations.  She requires another dog in her forever home, and she would do best with a well behaved, yet playful male- who likes to wrestle and race around a fenced in yard.  She is a bit too fast-forward with cats, so we'd prefer her go to a cat free home.  She knows her basic commands, is crate trained, and she walks beautifully on leash- though she does need a reminder from time to time that all good things come from paying attention to the human at the other end of the leash.  She does require an active home, she simply adores daily walks or hikes.  Celeste would do best in a home where her humans are not gone for long hours.  She does require a fenced in yard (physical fencing, no invisible fences please).  All humans in the home should be 8 years of age, or older.  She has been spayed and microchipped, and is current on preventatives and vaccines.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 28, 2023, 9:15 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please click on Lyra's photo in order to read all about her, and the home we are seeking for her placement.Lyra is a super sweet girl, she is loyal and very loving.  She enjoys exploring the world around her, and she is looking for a fun family to do that with.  She adores both cats and dogs, and she hopes to share her new home with both- or to be able to socialize with other animals often.  Lyra was born in foster care and she has had a great start in life.  She has begun her crate training, leash lessons, and has begun her basic obedience lessons.    Since Lyra is so young, she requires a home where her humans are not gone for long hours.  All children in the home should be 8 years of age or older.  Since she is still being potty trained, we are seeking a home with a fenced in yard (a physical fence, not an invisible fence).  She has started her preventative medications, and is current on age appropriate vaccines.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 28, 2023, 9:15 am
