Hi, I’m Jovie. I’m about 1 year and 3 months old, weigh around 40 pounds, and I’m a spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped boxer mix. I’m incredibly friendly and full of life. I love to play, I love my chew toys, and I’m always ready for the next adventure. I’m an active girl who enjoys staying busy and being included in daily activities—especially walks. I do well with other dogs, but I’m best matched with bigger dogs only, preferably another young, playful pup who can keep up with my energy. Cats are not a good fit for me, and chickens are a definite no. I’ve made my feelings about chickens very clear. I’m house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. An active home would be perfect for me, and a fenced yard would be a big plus so I have space to run and play safely. I was adopted from this rescue when I was around 4 months old, and I’m now back in their care because I couldn’t resist the temptation of the chicken coop—despite many attempts to keep me out. Sometimes instincts win. I’m a great dog who just needs the right environment to succeed. If you’re looking for a fun, energetic companion who’s affectionate, playful, and always up for something to do, I’m ready to find my forever home—one without chickens, but full of love and activity.

She loves to wrestle with her canine pals, and would adore another dog in the home to play with. Her favorite activity is to go on walks and hikes, so she definitely requires an active home that will supply regular exercise. Her second favorite activity is fetch, so sessions of retrieving between exploration sessions is a winning combo for her in life. But don't worry, one this girl has an outing- she's all about the cuddle sessions too- fair warning- she's a total couch and bed hog... She would love another dog in her forever home- she is a wonderful buddy to dogs- both big and small. Celeste would do best in a home where her humans are not gone for long hours. He likes to play ball, run around in the yard, chew on his chew toys, ride in the car, and meet new people. He is happy to be in his crate as long as he gets to run and play after a few hours. He is mostly potty-trained and he thinks the doggie door is super fun! When he is in his routine he will even "go potty" on command. In the evening after dinner he likes to cuddle before going to bed. Lobster is full of love and he is going to make the right person a wonderful companion. He is a smart pup who has already had a lot of training. He loves going out and practicing what he has learned. He does best with structure and understands that he needs to follow rules (although he will test you to see if you are watching once in a while!). A home without other pets or small children would be best for him. He is initially nervous in new environments, but he settles in with time. His ideal home would be with an active adult who enjoys practicing his obedience training and teaching him new things. He is very smart and a good listener, but he needs a strong role model who has time to spend with him. He will give you endless love in return!
