Bonanza is a 6mth old neutered male Boxer mixed puppy. He currently weighs around 40 lbs. He was pulled from our local shelter. Bonanza is a healthy , happy and friendly puppy. He is enjoying his time here at the rescue but he would really love a home and family to call his own. He is moderate energy with a wonderful temperament. He can't wait to meet his forever family. We are unsure if he is house trained. He has been great with other dogs and children. He is up to date on shots and wormed. He is already neutered. The adoption fee is $250. Laila is a 5yr old spayed female Boxer/ Pitbull mix. Laila came to us as part of a cruelty case. Laila was loved but never received vet care or proper food. She had a terrible flea infestation and was missing a lot of hair. She was also thin and needed wormed. She has now been fully vetted and has put on some much needed weight. For everything she has been through Laila is still a very kind and gentle girl. She eagerly wants to please you and should quickly learn new commands. She has some energy but also calms down nicely. She is good with her food and happily shares toys and treats. She has been through enough and now deserves to live the good life. She seems very well house trained. She is up to date on shots and wormed. She is already spayed. The adoption fee is $200. Jalene is a 5 years and 5 month old Boxer/Bulldog mix weighing 38 pounds. She came to the shelter as a stray so her history is unknown. Jalene is a petite girl with a large personality! She is full of sassiness, cuddles and kisses! She likes to go for walks but pulls, needs leash training and a harness is required to prevent trachea damage, she's especially crazy and pulls when squirrels are near! She is very smart and curious. She is quick to learn. She loves treat puzzles and knows commands sit and paw. She is selective with treats and loves stuffed toys. Plays fetch and and enjoys other outdoor toys, lots of energy. She thinks she is a lap dog and wants to be with you all the time. Loves car rides, especially if there is a pup cup-minus the cup! No cats permitted in her new home. Jalene does well with other dogs but should be the only dog in the home due to her not wanting to share attention (jealous). Her adoption fee is $150, this includes her spay, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. Her dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00. Please visit the shelter to meet her, we show dogs Monday through Friday 1pm-4:30pm and Saturday 1pm-3:30pm. Once you have visited the shelter, you are then eligible to submit an adoption application for review. Please note, we do not offer same day adoptions and there is a $10 non-refundable application fee.Come and meet your new best friend today! Lady's always excited for an adventure from leisurely walks in the park, a nice open-window car ride, or a good fluffy toy to nibble on! Children 8 years and older would be best due to her intense love. Dogs: We're not quite sure how Lady does with dogs. She does seem to enjoy playtime with them as long as they can respect her boundaries when it's time to relax. We always advise cautious and supervised introductions for the best chance of success.
