This affectionate and loyal girl we believe is a mix of Staffordshire Terrier and Boxer, with a dash of who-knows-what-else, giving her a one-of-a-kind look and personality that is all her own. At about four months old and 27 Lbs., Skye is always up for an adventure, whether it's frolicking with her favorite toy or chasing leaves in the wind. But don't be fooled by her playful nature, this smart cookie is also eager to please and quick to learn, already mastering the art of potty training, sitting and crate training skills with her foster mom. Skye is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a lifetime of fun and love. She gets along great with other dogs and cats too! Skye loves children and is sure to be a loyal friend to all. With her charming looks and affectionate behavior, Skye will win over your heart in an instant. Don't miss out on the chance to welcome this special gal into your home and make her a part of your family! One of the most endearing qualities of the American Staffordshire Terrier and Boxer mix is their loyalty and affection towards their family. They are known to be excellent family pets and get along well with children and other pets when properly socialized. They are protective of their loved ones and will go to great lengths to keep them safe. Skye is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and micro-chipped. $115 rescue adoption fee applied along with a neuter contract. Story
Qira is a senior boxer mix, almost 10 years old, and she has spent most of her life — about seven years — growing up in a shelter. Because of that, she isn’t a dog who gives her heart to everyone right away… but when she chooses you, she chooses you completely.Qira bonds slowly and thoughtfully. She is selective with new people and needs time to feel safe, especially with strangers. Once trust is built, though, she is deeply affectionate and devoted. When she loves you, she wants to be close — lying quietly beside you, checking in often, and occasionally nudging under your arm to politely demand attention.Despite her age, Qira still has joyful puppy moments. She loves the snow, runs and plays outside, and will happily chase shadows (possibly thanks to being blind in one eye). On playful days, she’ll even chase your shadow if you move around with her. When you sit on the floor, she’ll confidently plop herself into your lap — even though she is very much not a lap-sized dog.Qira shows affection in tender, meaningful ways: resting her forehead against yours, offering the occasional gentle “kiss,” and choosing to stay close rather than roam. She knows her people — if she sees her favorite person arrive, she lights up, pulls toward them on leash, and will even refuse to walk past their office door if she knows they’re nearby.Because of her history, Qira will need:A patient, adult-only homeA slow, respectful introduction process with potential adoptersMultiple visits to build trust before adoptionTo be the only pet in the home (she is not suited for cats, and dog compatibility is unknown)Qira is not a dog for everyone — and that’s okay. She is a dog for someone special. Someone calm. Someone kind. Someone willing to earn her trust and be rewarded with fierce loyalty and quiet companionship. If you believe love is something you build, not something you rush, Qira may be waiting for you.

Story
I’m not a fan of cats, so I would prefer to live in a home without any. - TJ Dogs are usually tested with other dogs their size, and we encourage meet-and-greets with your dog before adoption. Cat tests are available if requested, but they only check for clear aggression. Always be careful when introducing dogs to cats. Advice about dogs living with children is based on behavior like energy level and how the dog handles touch. Young children should never be left alone with dogs, and we cannot guarantee how any dog will behave with kids or other pets. Behavior seen in the shelter is just a snapshot and may change in a home. Dogs come from many backgrounds and may need training, time, and patience. Dogs should not be fed together unless you know they do not guard food. We also suggest learning about a dog's breed or mix to be sure it fits your family. Moving to a new home can be stressful for dogs. Use the Rule of 3 to help them adjust: First 3 days: Dogs may feel scared, tired, overexcited, or not want to eat. First 3 weeks: Dogs start learning routines and may show new behaviors. Keep things calm and avoid busy places. First 3 months: Dogs usually feel settled and more comfortable. Story
Meet Stella! This stunning young red head beauty, just a year old, who is looking for her perfect match for endless adventures! She is a Petite Pit Bull who weighs 36.5 Lbs. (We believe she could be mixed with Vizsla). With her expressive eyes, Stella is the kind of dog who makes an impression - and once you get to know her, you'll discover her heart is as beautiful as her striking coat. Stella is the definition of a loyal companion who lives for quality time with her people. Whether she's joining you for a car ride (her absolute favorite!), exploring new places, or showing off how attentive she is during training sessions, this energetic girl puts her whole heart into everything she does. When Stella gets to know you, her friendly, outgoing personality makes her a natural social butterfly, and she forms deep bonds with those she loves.
