Story
Hey girls...I may not look the part, but I am a snuggler! I also like to run and play after that we can take a nap on the couch while watching a little tv.I like chew bones and toys and I am told I do pretty good on the leash. I really would like my very own human and my very own cuddly bed.

Story
Qira is a senior boxer mix, almost 10 years old, and she has spent most of her life — about seven years — growing up in a shelter. Because of that, she isn’t a dog who gives her heart to everyone right away… but when she chooses you, she chooses you completely.Qira bonds slowly and thoughtfully. She is selective with new people and needs time to feel safe, especially with strangers. Once trust is built, though, she is deeply affectionate and devoted. When she loves you, she wants to be close — lying quietly beside you, checking in often, and occasionally nudging under your arm to politely demand attention.Despite her age, Qira still has joyful puppy moments. She loves the snow, runs and plays outside, and will happily chase shadows (possibly thanks to being blind in one eye). On playful days, she’ll even chase your shadow if you move around with her. When you sit on the floor, she’ll confidently plop herself into your lap — even though she is very much not a lap-sized dog.Qira shows affection in tender, meaningful ways: resting her forehead against yours, offering the occasional gentle “kiss,” and choosing to stay close rather than roam. She knows her people — if she sees her favorite person arrive, she lights up, pulls toward them on leash, and will even refuse to walk past their office door if she knows they’re nearby.Because of her history, Qira will need:A patient, adult-only homeA slow, respectful introduction process with potential adoptersMultiple visits to build trust before adoptionTo be the only pet in the home (she is not suited for cats, and dog compatibility is unknown)Qira is not a dog for everyone — and that’s okay. She is a dog for someone special. Someone calm. Someone kind. Someone willing to earn her trust and be rewarded with fierce loyalty and quiet companionship. If you believe love is something you build, not something you rush, Qira may be waiting for you.

Story
Hi my name is Vanessa. I am a happy boxer with lots of years left, I am only 3 years old and have been spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm and flea & tick prevention. I am a little shy at first but once I get that first taste of loving I'm hooked. I feel I would be really good for an adventurous family. I love to explore the yard and play with my friends. I get along with everybody.

Story
The BackstoryAt just a year and a half old, Mystic has already completed her first major life chapter: raising a litter of puppies. She was an excellent mama, but let’s be honest, she’s practically a teenager herself! Now that her motherly duties are officially retired, Mystic is ready to trade diaper duty for squeaky toys and live out her own carefree youth.✨ PersonalityMystic is the ultimate combo package. She has a mild-mannered, gentle soul, but her absolute favorite superpower is couch cuddling. If there is an open spot next to you on the sofa, you can bet Mystic will be melting right into your side for some love! Once she's done melting your heart with her sweetness, her playful, goofy side shines through for some fun playtime.🏡 Her Dream HomeMystic is looking for a family who will pamper her like the queen she is. Her absolute dream setup? A big comfy couch, a pile of toys, and humans who love to give endless affection.Mystic's Promise: "I've spent enough time taking care of babies—now I'm ready to be your baby (and take over your couch)!

Story
Rhonda is a sweet, silly, cuddly 3 year old Boxer/Aussie mix. She is being placed up for adoption because her owner has health issues. She has been a very spoiled girl and we want to make sure her new owners will continue giving her the Diva treatment she deserves 💗 She loves all people and is a great snuggle and play buddy. She is also certain to give you lots of laughs with her silly, playful personality. She is used to being in a home where she can spend time outdoors in a fenced yard but gets to come in when her people are home and sleep inside in a comfy dog bed. She would like to be your “one and only” and want all your love to herself, so we are looking to rehome her in a home with no other pets.

Story
I AM SPONSORED! Thank you Angie Garcia for sponsoring me in loving memory of my black prince Woody. Meet Shnookie, a playful and energetic 1- to 2-year-old Boxer mix with a heart full of joy. Her curious nature turns every day into an adventure. She’s always eager to explore, whether it’s a new walking path or a puzzle toy. Shnookie is known for her sweet demeanor and funny antics, which bring smiles to everyone around her. While she’s not fond of cats, she absolutely adores human companionship. Adopting Shnookie means welcoming endless laughter, boundless energy, and unconditional love into your home. She’s the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loyal and loving friend. Dogs are usually tested with other dogs their size, and we encourage meet-and-greets with your dog before adoption. Cat tests are available if requested, but they only check for clear aggression. Always be careful when introducing dogs to cats. Advice about dogs living with children is based on behavior like energy level and how the dog handles touch. Young children should never be left alone with dogs, and we cannot guarantee how any dog will behave with kids or other pets. Behavior seen in the shelter is just a snapshot and may change in a home. Dogs come from many backgrounds and may need training, time, and patience. Dogs should not be fed together unless you know they do not guard food. We also suggest learning about a dog's breed or mix to be sure it fits your family. Moving to a new home can be stressful for dogs. Use the Rule of 3 to help them adjust: First 3 days: Dogs may feel scared, tired, overexcited, or not want to eat. First 3 weeks: Dogs start learning routines and may show new behaviors. Keep things calm and avoid busy places. First 3 months: Dogs usually feel settled and more comfortable.
