She is friendly and such a sweetheart, but right now she is shy and scared being in this type of environment again. She does do well in play groups here at the shelter but enjoys one on one time with people. Mocha will need to go to a home without any other animals, but could likely meet other dogs outside of the home. We believe she will be a loyal pup to her next family! Hi there, I'm Precious. They say that I am called this because I am the most precious dog here at God's Dogs Rescue. I came to the rescue in October of 2022 to have a safe place for me to have and raise my puppies. All my puppies were adopted by the end of January 2023, but I am still here looking for my furever home. I am a bigger girl, but this just means there is more of me to cuddle you, because I love cuddling it's one of my top 3 favorite things. 1) Food- I love food and will do almost anything you ask if you have a treat involved. 2) Cuddles- on your lap, on the couch, in the bed wherever there is a comfy space with pillows or a human I want to be there. 3) Kisses- I have a love of giving kisses to people, especially kids. Although not everyone likes it when I try to kiss them and that makes me sad. 4) Honorable mention- I like going on walks or in the car for a ride, although I prefer just lazing around at home. My current fosters say that I am a "house hippo with springs in my feet whatever that means; I just know sometimes, when I get super happy, I feel like I could fly- or jump really high. I love their kids and am very good with them even the tiny ones. I get along with most other dogs I meet, although I have a big personality about me, because I'm a boss, so sometimes other dogs don't like that about me. I tolerate cats although if they give me too much attitude or growl at me, I can't help but to give them piece of my mind. I like most new people I meet although I had a rough start in life so sometimes, I can be a little wary with men, with time though I adjust, and we can become best friends forever. A few more little details about me: I am almost 3 years old I am a Boxer/Shepherd mix I am great with kids I am good with Cats and Dogs I am crate-trained I am housebroken I can be adopted in Texas or anywhere in the US too! We got Abby from a friend when she was around 6 months old. We were told she is a pure bred, but have not had that confirmed. She has not had any litters. Shes about 2.5 years old now. This girl is a ball of energy, once she trusts you she loves you hard. She does chase our cats around but has never harmed them. Is GREAT around kids (see picture). We have noticed that she is shy around males. We have never had her inside our home, so I cant say how shell be indoors. Were looking for a home for her where she can be loved and have a companion.
