Story
Hi, I`m Tartufo! I`m about 8 months old and weigh 37 pounds. I have a medical waiver that staff can discuss with you further.** I still need to be neutered so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I`ve done okay meeting other dogs here at the shelter. Please bring any dogs in the home when you come to meet me!Cats? Unknown. I would need a slow introduction and supervised interactions to live with a feline friend.Kids? I would like to start out meeting kiddos 6+.Anything else you`d like us to know, Tartufo? I am a super cuddly and playful boy! I am still a puppy and will need some training in my new home.I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Pearl was found on 3/23/25 at Bethel Community Park. It is unknown at this time if she is spayed. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Meet Oliver! Oliver aka Ollie was found as a stray along with his brother in a state of severe neglect. They were both taken in by a lovely independent rescuer where they received veterinary care and were nursed back to health. They are both now with us in a wonderful foster home (@roofusandkilo) and looking for their forever families. Ollie is a big, playful goof, who is a great mixture of active fun dog and cuddly, couch potato. Because Ollie is a large puppy who is still learning personal space and boundaries we do not recommend small children. Ollie loves playing with other dogs and shares, attention, toys, space and food with no issues. We do not know how Ollie is with cats but with proper introductions and boundaries may do well. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Ollie's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website! Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. Ollie would do great in a home with...Cats : Dogs : Yep!  Kiddos : 10+    ##2330924##
